Zelda music is taken straight from out of this world. Your use of various instruments is always impressive and even more so for a song such as this one. Great theme and a great performance of it man!
Ah, GOSH this was lovely!! I forget sometimes just how gorgeous Tears of the Kingdom sounds, and the shakuhachi works amazingly for this piece!! Best of luck with the move back to college - having just started uni again, I know how stressful it can be! Excited for all that you have cooking ‼️
The game does have some really atmospheric and beautiful pieces! I forget about them all the time too, unfortunately. Thanks for all of the support, man! I’m excited for what the future holds! Best of luck with your own education, Hart! 🫡
This is a really cool choice for a cover. I feel like these more atmospheric pieces can feel so intimidating, and I think you captured the vibe sooo well with the piano and shakuhachi. Your arrangement made me appreciate this piece a lot more, as I feel like I kind of just left it unacknowledged in the background while playing.
Thank you so much! So many tracks like this are so easy to overlook, which I feel just means the composers did a great job capturing what they needed to. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Today I learned what a shakuhachi was. I agree the skies weren't all that rewarding to explore but this song was at least nice to listen to. Great cover!
@@XanderPlute Gulliver's Travels is a book about a man who visits many far off lands, first one of little people, then of giants, then the world of the floating island, and others as well.
I really love how atmospheric this is! And I'm looking forward to those collaborations :) Good luck with your move back to college man! I'm in the process of that as well haha!
The sax especially a soprano one has quit a long range from notes, but your shakuhachi could fill the role of the high notes pretty well! You captured the atmosphere of a dreaming sky world very well with this, but I also felt myself like monk meditating in a ancient japanese nature reservat xD Very relaxing! C:

Thanks man! The series has always had some of the best music and this newest game is no exception! I’m glad you enjoyed it.

It’s a very tranquil piece, for sure! I’m glad I could introduce you to a new instrument. It’s been a blast to learn!
Thanks for the kind words!
Beautiful! Always love a good shakuhachi.
Thank you! It’s such a beautiful instrument.
Beautiful, Xander! Amazing, amazing textures!
Thanks so much, Ben!
I love this cover of the mystical and surreal music from the game. The sky islands made me think of Gulliver's Travels
I haven’t heard of that. I’ll have to check it out. I’m glad you liked the cover!

This is lovely! You very much made it your own!
Thank you so much! It means a lot to hear that.

Thanks, Will! I’m really excited to put the finishing touches on a lot of my future covers.
I hope your own moving process goes smoothly as well!

Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I wasn’t sure how well the shakuhachi tracks would sound together, but I think everything turned out well.
I really like your style. I subd and will closely follow what you post next.
Thank you so much!
