A much requested topic. Here's the 10 things I thinj China could improve upon after living here for the past 18 months.
While we often speak very positively of China, just like any other place on the globe, there'll always be space for improvement and as we always say part of loving a country is also pushing for it to improve!

I was visiting Shanghai a few years ago and caught a very bad head cold, so much so that my ears and nose were blocked and I had excruciating pain in my ear. My hosts took me to a local hospital that dealt with the expat community, and after waiting for a short while a doctor took an extensive look at me and then prescribed medicine (which worked wonders btw), all for the grand total of RMB120. Western healthcare is at third world levels in comparison.

To our Chinese, it is like that though the Indians speak English in their own way with their own accent, the Indians could not say English was invented by them, or they can't say that Churchill is an Indian just because they were once rulled by the UK. But seems Koreans don't understand this.

Chinese people have a lot of friendliness and good hospitality. China is very rich in ancient history going back 5,000 years. I’m from the US and my country’s history is very very short compared to China’s long history. US history is more than 12 times younger than Chinese history. I would like to travel to more than 50 countries in the world. I would also like to study abroad and move abroad. I took Mandarin Chinese in high school and that was the only good thing about high school because the teacher was very nice and learning new languages is very fun to me. I enjoy learning new languages, listening to music and acrylic painting, those are my three biggest hobbies. I also love geography and history as favorite subjects. I love meeting new people and making new friends with them! Chinese food in China looks way better than Chinese food in the States.

???? No Koreans EVER think that sugar coated 탕후루(糖葫蘆; 糖葫芦) is Korean. Its just one of Chinese stuff that got boomed only a few years ago in Korea, along with 마라탕. Just as Hongkong culture got popular back in 80s. Congfu?? Why do you Chinese keep claiming he's Korean?? He isnt. Hell, no one cares about Congfu in Korea. I dont understand why some CHINESE claim so. We never claim someone elses as Korean. Thats just Chinese or Japanese thing. No thank you. .... Ha.... Hanbok(韓服) being Hanfu(漢服) is mad. Because Chinese didnt even wear pants but only skirts then. The actual name of the clothes resembling Hanbok are mingfu 明服 from Ming dynasty period, as Goryeo (Korean) culture gained sudden booming trend in Ming therefore similar clothings. And stop claiming history of Goguryeo as Chinese culture. Goryeo was named after Goguryeo which later became known as Korea in Western worlds. ... Same with Kimchi. Its may have resemblences but totally different from paochai. For instance, you dont need refrigerators for Paochai, just as pickles dont as you use alcohol or salts and other natural preservatives. Its great for storage. But kimchi is not a preservative food. It cant last much in room temperature for more then a few days even without it getting very very sour. Thats why we have refrigerators just made specifically for kimchi. ... Why did we Koreans make unpreservable stuff like kimchi is because Korea is NOT A FERTILE LAND. Other people just want to preserve vegetables, but in Korea, its hard to get stable supply of proteins. So we grew bacteria in kimchi for nutrition. Not preserverence. If you go out to hunt, it was more likely to BE hunted by tigers. Also one of reasons why Koreans eat all sorts of plants... even poisonous ones. We didnt have much to eat. So we boiled, cooked fried and made kimchi out of every available plants. Big differences.

Take note westerners. This is how you criticize China, or other eastern countries. Take your time, polite tone, provide context and video references. This is the most important part : show that you are genuinley care about said country, whether China or elsewhere. It shows on your face expression and gestures. We - eastern people - are highly effective in decoding non verbal cues.
