Funny.. I don't feel food is particular great in beijing compare to sichuan and guandong provinser, except for duck and dumpling. In the north food is general more salty, blank and vegetable are not that fresh compare to central/southern china, kinda like Denmark and southern europe, there are notable difference on taste and selections.
Beijing is so colorful! I would love to shop that souvenir street.

@MW-mn1el Compared to Hangzhou, I'd say it better. Jiayi is from Dongbei, so we are both partial to the Northern flavour
