Im thinking about modding my 360 e would I get banned if I connected my main account and played multiplayer ?

For some reason, the H shaped metal tray for the composite has black wires leading to the connectors welded to it. Is this normal for some official composite cables or has mine been messed with before?

I just bought a cheap third party component cable on Amazon some days ago, this is worse than the original AV xbox cable lol, for 8 bucks this is one of my worst purchase ! I was not expecting a really high picture quality, but at least I thought it would have been at least better than AV, but no, the image has artefacts, with weird colored lines crossing the screen, and sometimes the top of my screen is flickering ! I just saw this video because I have an OG xbox 360 cable like that lying around and I was pretty sure it was possible to do this, sadly I don't have the materials required for that, nothing for welding etc... so my question is ? Is it possible to just, cut both wires at the "middle", the one from OG xbox and the one from the OG xbox 360 and just join the wires (without having to open the plug, and weld wires) ?

it really makes you wonder why microsoft changed the connector from the og to the 360 they could have saved production costs and made component from the start… microsoft does idiotic things though so thats on par i guess😂

I made it! Looks so much better than aliexpress component cable. But instead of cutting it i just removed the Xbox 360 connector (flathead screwdriver for the plastic clips and bend some metal like on the classic cable) and desoldered everything from the Xbox 360 cable connector. Much easier because inside all ground wires are shrink tubed and ready to solder on the classic cable. :) Btw thanks for the video, i finally have a good Xbox Classic component cable!

I recently bought my first console, a ps3. The console itself was in incredible condition, but the controller.... pure horror. It was the first time I had to take apart any piece of tech. The controller was not only dirty, but the spring for the shoulder button was broken. Had to wait a few days in order to replace it. Now that I've cleaned everything I can enjoy some classics ;)

I've never taken apart a controller before but I didn't want to buy another one. The left thumbstick was acting haywire and causing the right stick to move when it wasn't supposed to. The buttons weren't responsive as they should be. This totally helped me now it's working perfectly.

Maybe I dont Understand but first must be Audio right - red to pin 1 and it's ground to pin 2. Or it depends on cables ?

@RestorationRelaxation - in theory, can the Corona board from this black version of the E model be placed in the Blue version of the E, replacing the Winchester board? This would give fans of the Blue E model the option of having a modded Blue. Thoughts?

remember that some xbox 360 E's are winchester model, therefore they cannot be jailbroken at all, this here 2:49 is a corona model and you can jailbreak it in the RGH 3 way

got given a elite 360 for free as it was dead-dead an i bought a white core one for a tenner that only had a sticky drive, cleaned it up an poped the elite case on it, even put tipex in the lettering to make it look like it was ment to be there, looked great when done, until sombodys kid fed it pepsi :(

the clicks and bangs really hit the nail on the head of how noisey this console is to tear down and rebuild, the pop for the screws sounded like the finger in mouth pop heh that was a good idea :)

No way I got recommended this video after doing the exact same thing, got a Halo 3 console for wicked cheap. Only difference is both boards are thankfully working. Swapped the jasper I already had into the Halo box and we're rollin. Just missing the Halo 3 HDD enclosure.

I bought a red controller and replaced the joystick. The problem is my left button is spongy. I replaced the rubber piece under it and still no improvement. Any suggestions??
