    Is this fully functional by bluetooth on a PC because I have no idea what this means "D-input is defaut mode, X-input mode is available for USB C connection only(2.5M USB C cable included)." from the amazon description. The Neptune 4 plus uses 6mm GT2 timing belts, which can be found on Amazon fairly priced. If you are talking about the parts used in TBStron3ds kits, I don’t believe you can order the parts separately. But shoot them an email and maybe they can sen you just the parts and no rails.

    Great videos, these helped me immensely. However at 0:45 you mention TBStron says they're ready to be installed with grease from the factory and that doesn't seem to be the case. Other videos and posts I've seen have said they need to be greased, and the grease they come with is more for corrosion protection. I installed them without adding grease and they are very dry now, waiting for some lithium grease and syringes to arrive tomorrow. You were right to clean and grease them yourself, I think everyone needs to go that before installing. That said, your videos were great and helpful. Thanks for posting!

    I was so enthusiastic to buy this printer model. After a month of use all hell begun... After a blob of death everything went pear shaped. I've got the replacement print head no doubt, but the next one couple of days later... I was so angry, I've just throw it to the bin... No replacement from this company. Since the installation and re-levelling of the latest pre-assembled extruder kit I was not able to print a single usable piece. As the latest repeated fails, I've checked the bed temp and found that: it is all over the place and some parts even 10C degree lower than the set level. I wasted countless hours and countless filament reels with this junk of a printer. Not happy at all! Wouldn't ever buy another elegoo in any shape or form.

    I was considering upgrading my N4P to linear rails but I've read how bad they are if you don't lube them constantly, otherwise they will perform worse than POM wheels. That really pulled me off this upgrade after seeing the barely noticeable differences. Nice video tough, we need more content for the N4P, which is by the far the best printer in the 300-350 USD range IMO. Before the N4P I had an Original ENder 3 for over 6 years and I only changed its POM wheels in the last 6th year in an attempt to improve the X axis jerkiness and ghosting that I was experiencing, only to find out that the issue was with the worn out belt gears instead. The POM wheels where still fine after all those years.

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94 Месяц назад

      I found it helped with bed leveling the most, removing the pom wheels made it easier by eliminating one more factor. I turned the nut once and I could never get it back the same (taco bed).

I didn't get the WiFi to work, adding a Klipperscreen to the SX08 I could select the WiFi hotspot but it would not ask for the password, it would just start connecting without the password and fail, tried the wifi.cfg method, no luck and finally plugged a ethernet cable in but still failed to connect. Another video about Sovol…. And another one that fails to mention that they have zero customer service after you buy the unit. You did not pay for your unit and I see that it has been over two weeks since you sent Sovol a correspondence… And you have no response. Not a big surprise. I listen to one of these RUclips influencers and was stupid enough to buy an SV07+ based on their comments. The printer broke down in less than two months. It has been broken down for almost 3 months. I have a lot of worthless emails, but no parts or real support. Finally, on May 25 of 2024, they said they were shipping a new power supply. They provided a tracking number from USPS… The slowest shipping company in the United States. As of today, June 16 of 2024, USPS is still waiting for the power supply! Rest assured, if you are not a paid supporter of this company, you are not going to get any customer support after you spend your money. do you think for one second that they are making people wait three months for new printers??? I don’t think so… And I’m pretty sure you know better. Don’t drink the Kool-Aid and fall for the crap. Buy a Prusa or a bambu labs and you will be much happier… That’s what I did and I am back in business with a superior product that actually comes with customer service.

It cost me £283.99p which is a saving on the non sale price here of £81.00p Since it is a UK site I don't pay import fees or shipping those are zero. It should be delivered between 3 to 7 days. It will be joining the other 3D printers I already have of the Neptune 3 & the Neptune 3 Max and the Elegoo Saturn 2 4K Resin printer and the Qidi X-Plus-3 core xy klipper printer. I dismantle the two other printers I have and pack them back in their original boxes for storing as they been a pain over the last 6 months leveling problems etc. even though I upgraded them over a time to be better printers. So the work top space those two ( FLSUN QQ-S Pro Delta & the Aquila printer ) can be freed up for the new Neptune 4 Plus. I am hoping to find out how to do klipper control of the Neptune 3 & 3 Max using the BTT Pad 7 I brought? No videos seen to do that for us non klipper coders sofar found sadly? 🤔

      Man you have an army of printers. I still have yet to get a resin printer. As for getting the neptunes to work with the BTT pad, I don’t know if it’s just plug and play. But I do know they can run Klipper, I think it requires a new mmc or a dedicated raspberry pi.

      @@EdsTechTalk94 Hi, the BTT Pad 7 has Klipper system already installed on there, and they say run 4 printers at once. But it is the set up of how to do that is my problem? The Saturn 2 resin printer can do great detailed prints at 4 K and I have the wash & cure XS system too, My only problem is, the waste water from the washing! I use water washable resin due to the high cost here of the IPA normally used to wash prints. The problem even with the wash water is simple! Not having the strong sunlight here in good old UK to set the resin in the water after the printing, as being toxic it can't go down the toilet or drains etc. I had to store it in sealed containers, now have 20 liters stored. the last two years we have had very little sun to set it even in the summers. Someone said use the UV light cure unit I have, But since the turn table is not made for heavy water filled containers I can't use that sadly. And no toxic recycling firms I seen around here. No car so transporting it be illegal on public transport. So I have to give up on resin printing if I can't sort out a way to even set the water filled resin I already stored neither known any new amount? the new Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus is on route I've been told so it be good to have. 😉

      Hi again, I thought I update you and others on my printers. I now got the new Elegoo Neptune 4 Plus Printer and just set it up on the worktop where the Delta and Aquila were. I removed those two and thought I see if I could get the the Delta working right if not I would carry on the dismantling of it along with the Aquila? I found new Firmware for the delta and tried it, it worked. Now I only need to dismantle the Aquila as it is not working right? So after putting the Neptune 4 Plus up with the other printers, I have enough worktop space to put the delta back next to it and use that after all. I plan to make a small room in the space room they all are in! They sit in a alcove area on two tops so I will just put up two walls of wood and put in sound proof tiles in there so the sounds of the fans etc. don't upset me next to there in my bedroom? The anti-sound tiles also are fire proof too so two things sorted in one go. Hope your all doing well. cheers. 😉

    Fun video. Have you noticed an increase in your z-axis with this mod? I have ordered and received all the linear rail kits and I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy the belt kit. Thank again for the video!

      I’ve noticed it operates a lot smoother with the belts compared to the rods. I haven’t pushed the printer to hard are just yet. Working on another project at the moment.

      It’s the first round of a new machine. It’s gonna have issues. I just wanted to point them out, so new buyers are aware of the situation. I love the printer just had to disassemble it after I just assembled it 😅

    Why did you make this when the official TBSTron3D videos are so well produced? 😂😂😂 Seriously though, great job. Great procedural organization, communication, camera work, lighting, and editing. Just one bit of input: Many people, including myself, are going to be installing the Z belts and Z linear rails at the same time. Your well written procedures go out the window when we have to combine two videos…so please consider making one last video in the series for the whole Z job. You may even be able to get away with using only existing footage and some editing magic.

      At the time of filming the other videos Z belts were not available. TBStrons3D sent them out as soon as they could, they obviously can make the video fast then I can. But I will keep that thought in mind when doing other videos! Always appreciate feedback and thanks for watching!

    My assembly experience by comparison was a breeze. Despite the manual suggesting screwing each leg in one at a time, I socketed them all in before screwing. Then it only took the lightest amount of pressure to seat them. The only real issue I had was that my nozzle came clogged from the factory. Luckily the included cleaning tools were exactly what I needed to deal with it.
