    Legion Go is also the best handheld for EGPU and Desktop PC usage. Like so many Legion Go owners says.
    It's a gaming laptop in a handheld unlike the others. The others is pure handhelds. That's not a bad thing, but Legion Go gave people more options for people who wanted more than just a handheld.

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94  9 месяцев назад +2

      Yes! Unlike the ROG you aren’t stuck using their proprietary plug to run an external GPU. Also have you seen MSI’s Claw with thunderbolt 5 and what it can do now?

    • @V3ntilator
      @V3ntilator 9 месяцев назад

      @@EdsTechTalk94 Yep. I have seen MS Claw, but didn't know about Thunderbolt 5. It doubles the speed and power vs Thunderbolt 4. 240W in USB on a handheld is overkill.

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94  9 месяцев назад +2

      @V3ntilator well it’s not for power over usb per say. It’s meant for file transfer and if you watch LTTs latest video on it. It can stream over usb-c almost latency free.

    • @V3ntilator
      @V3ntilator 9 месяцев назад

      @@EdsTechTalk94 That's great. In latest specs it looks like it will have Thunderbolt 4. The preview/prototype version seem to have better specs than the one that will be for sale. Also, ptototype had 32.GB RAM, while final version will have 16.GB RAM.
      It's still 1-2 month before it launches, and it can still get some changes.

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94  9 месяцев назад +1

      @V3ntilator of course the demo has better specs 😅 I’m really interested in it being all intel cpu and gpu. I wonder well it will actually game.

    Awesome review! I noticed you ran MHGU, so congratulations on the taste, MH veteran! How do you like the emulation on the device? Does it feel natural, comfortable to play MH?

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94  9 месяцев назад +1

      Emulation is awesome on the legion go plus the 8.8 screen, you can’t beat it. The controls are comfortable, but like I said in the video the corners kinda dig into my palm after a bit plus the weight make want me put it down after an hour or so.

    The Legion GO is definitely the best Windows Handheld, otherwise, ill stick with my steam deck oled, its just perfect

    • @MCcalzone
      @MCcalzone 9 месяцев назад

      I don't get hoe the deck is perfect it can't play as many games as the legion go can and the games look way better on the go

    • @JDabz96
      @JDabz96 9 месяцев назад

      @michaelcalabrese1730 it can play almost as many, the only games it can't play are certain anticheat games, and I think it's perfect because of how much easier it is to use the steam deck, steam os just simplifies gaming on pc, I can accept the tradeoff of better performance, ease of use is much more important to me.

    since you have ROG ally & Legion Go which one will you pick and why? planning to buy this week but still I dont know which one? or just waiting for MSI claw

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94  9 месяцев назад +2

      I would have to go with the legion go only because I do more then game on it and the QHD display is a nice touch for watching RUclips or a movie. The performance is just about the same as the ROG Ally so as gaming wise I’d expect near FPS across both. Plus I do like the communication Lenovo has been giving us consumers as far as future plans and updates for it.

      Great news! It absolutely can play Fortnite. I was as able to get 80-120 fps at 1920x1200, directx 12, medium/low settings. So if you plan on making a dock station (which I would recommend) using a 1080p monitor then you’ll have no problems getting those crowns 😉

      You can also looking into the legion go fan mod, it’s basically a piece of tape in a certain spot to stop the fan high pitch whine, I guess some units do that.

    I just returned my LGO... I had a long return window on Amazon and it was due to run out this month.
    I had the wobbly controllers issue and Lenovo sent out one controller but that was it... I opened another ticket but have been ghosted..
    I tuned the LGO quite well but I did have issues running some games... I found the big screen and resolution options to be a blessing and a curse.. some games can't handle the high rez and 800p looked like dog shit.
    I will likely buy again in a couple months when they sort the controller issue out... until then I will use my OG Steam Deck which now looks like it has a tiny screen :/

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94  9 месяцев назад +1

      That’s horrible to hear! I heard the wobble isn’t always the controller but the actual mount on the screen side. Apparently the bracket can come loose. But I guess it’s too late to try.
      The Steam Deck is still a great device! It’s perfect for someone that just wants to pick up a gaming handheld and just simply game. No big hoops to jump through, it’s all right there. I trust Valve will keep up the great work it.

    • @DJCJ999
      @DJCJ999 9 месяцев назад

      Yeah there wasn’t anything loose… I just added a little piece of electrical tap to the inside of the controller which worked tbf but for £700 I want perfect out of the box @@EdsTechTalk94

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94  9 месяцев назад +1

      Totally agree. I can understand something coming loose but having to put tape on it is not acceptable in my book either. Hope the steam deck treats you well for the mean time! I know Emudeck is one of my favorite things to do on it.

    I want to buy msi curved 34 gaming monitor 144hz do you think it will work with legion gi legion?

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94  9 месяцев назад

      Absolutely it will work! If it’s 4k you might not be able to play many games at that resolution so you’ll have to turn them down, keep that in mind. Don’t forget to grab a usb-c dock that allows for at least 100w pass through so you can charge and use the Legion Go at the same time.

    Hey Ed, do you know why they did not made 32gb ram and 2tb-4tb storage, or at least 2280 space. Did they plan more for their next device, and when they will release it? Seems so little to have only this config.

    • @EdsTechTalk94
      @EdsTechTalk94  8 месяцев назад

      I couldn’t tell yea, but a lot of people wish they included more ram. And as for SSD size, it’s due to its small form factor. And I’m sure the next models off all the pc handhelds will include a 32gb ram option.
