Hey did the oil leak cause any hiccups or slight misfires at idle? I’m dealing with same oil leak inside the cap and wondering if it’s related to random idle hiccups and I mean random, not predictable. Curious if you’ve experienced same. Thanks

About to fix my distributor,went on a long drive parked my car for a few days and my car wouldn’t start, realized my distributor had a crack and was shooting sparks , and the case had oil everywhere inside it. I appreciate the tutorial you saved me a shitload if money with this one

My crank pulley is about 45 degrees off. Am i good to turn it the whole way, all the videos i watch you guys only turn it about .2 degrees

I'll likely attempt this within the next couple of weeks on my 01 accord. Local Honda dealer can actually order this part but is asking $500 for the IAC and $40 for the gasket. Hope I don't jack it up :)

watched this entire series some time ago and thoroughly enjoyed it and learned. My 2001 accord with the F23A1 and 293k miles has intermittently wanted to stall at idle but runs quite well with the gas pedal down and throttle open. I'm thinking my idle air control vale and intake which have never been serviced are likely quite dirty. I'm contemplating pulling of the airbox, the numerous vacuum lines, sensors, and removing the throttle body and IAC to thoroughly clean with throttle body cleaner. They have the OEM gaskets at my local Honda dealer as well as the IAC vale (for $500!). I'm hoping I might be able to pull them off, clean em, new gaskets, old IAC, and eliminate the intermittent idle problems. I have a decent tools but worry about preparing the gasket surface with a sanding block (what grit do I use?), the proper torque for the bolts, will I damage old vacuum lines when removing them? Daunting job for a newbie but love the videos. Thanks again

I had the same no-start problem and after some troubleshooting, determined the clutch safety switch itself had failed, and the rubber stoppers were both gone. A new switch, and a couple small bolts later (along with some elbow grease and some choice language) we're back in business.

My 2016 Honda City VX Idtech MT(India) won’t start until I keep the start/stop button pressed. After holding it for about 3-4 seconds the car starts and then drives perfectly. On the instrument cluster, the orange check starter system light is on (Clockwise arrow head circle with ! Mark in it). Earlier, I just needed to depress the clutch and press the button once but now I’m having to hold it. I have replaced the new Car battery and Keyless remote/fob battery too. Please help.

great video - saved me a ton of trouble, thank you!!! drove my 99 CR-V for a week with the paper clip method and then got a new switch. \ Couple things I learned - 1: taking the front seat out helped tremendously to reach under the dash (pretty easy to get the seat out). 2: Strongly recommend using a friend with small hands and a short handled wrench to get the switch out rather than taking the pedal out.

Great video. I've had 3 clutch master cylinders go bad and the reason was the same each time. One of the 3 bolts holding the housing together had snapped and the Dot fluid leaked out, pedal to the floor with no warning signs at all. I'm wondering if this is a common problem?

Resistor method works better imo and can't really be detected by a visual inspection. Non-foulers do work btw because the sensor is simply exposed to less O2. Good to hollow out the cats for more power. F the guv and their BS

Unless your vehicle is 0:04 sending a plume of smoke from the exhaust, these emission laws are ridiculous! The amount of dangerous emissions expelled by a vehicle during its final useful lifetime is far less than the emissions and pollution caused by tearing apart, separating and smelting all the steel and components of the already existing and useful paid for vehicle. I miss the days of buying a $300 car with minor issues, spending a few hours and $ for parts. Nice, I'd have a good running beater to drive for a couple of years! Good luck today..

I know this is old but i’m going to be replacing my whole front end , ball joints and control arms n all, couldn’t i just avoid removing the axel nut and disengage the lower control arm and pull the axle out still? like with the whole knuckle assembly

After bleeding my clutch, my slave cylinder spring broke. This caused my clutch to fall.to the floor and stop working. After this repair, my cruise control would not work. Searching every video and website, along with all the electrical diagrams etc to not find the issue, I stumbled across this video which had nothing to do with the cruise control. Incidentally, this video pointed out the plastic rubber that fell off causing the cruise control to stop working. Two minutes to inspect and now my cruise control is fixed 🤩. The little rubber behind the peddle must have snapped when my brother got the shits trying to push the peddle down helping to bleed a clutch with a faulty slave cylinder. Thanks for this video 😊 Was about to pay an auto electrician to diagnose a problem that cost nothing to fix 😆.

So I'm rebuilding my F22 and I never clamped down my rocker arm assembly now the rockers are loose, nothing fully came apart but there are gaps in between rockers. I'm having trouble pushing back together so I tried to take it apart and also won't work. It wouldn't thread the screws in because on the gaps too.
