Well, there was no CEL for the O2s. Lean conditions are frequently caused by vacuum leaks, so I checked that before throwing parts at it. If I had not found the leak, I might have moved on to checking the O2s. The junkyard throttle body did fix this.
You can use also cigarettes smoke 😊
Ingenious. I like having vacuum pressure sensing tools too. Lets ya know how much air you FIV is giving up.
Having a good smoke machine can save a lot of headaches working on older engines. Worth the $.

What was the end result ?
Replaced the throttle body with a junkyard one. Worked fine after that.
