Thank you for all this content. I’m about to remove head, plus remove Rocker arm assembly to send head off to Machine shop to get a exhaust stud that broke off in head that the previous owner tried to drill out. Plus will be replacing water pump and timing belts. What’s a good Head Gasket to go with? Thanks again.

If you can get a Honda OEM gasket, I would go with that. I have used the 8 dollar gaskets without issues as well..
Good luck with your repair and thank you for commenting

Yea i had some that creaked even though i used ARP lube on them... My digital torque wrench referenced the last 90 degree torque and showed it was 135 ftlbs

Those back two did that creaking last time as well. Since this was to degree instead of torque I don't get too excited about it.
      Thanks for the info.

Hello.. I’m doing my F23A head cylinder gasket. I watch your video and great instruction. Seeing you torquing the 3rd 90 degrees is nerve racking 🥺 ( worries breaking bolt) I can get away with 2 x 90 degrees? or should I follow the service manual. I bought new OEM head bolts from the dealership. Appreciate any input from you. Thanks for sharing you knowledge.

If they are from the dealership, you will be good on that third turn. They stretch and it even feels like a bolt starting to break when you get to that point. It is nerve racking!
      Good luck
