      I try not to curse in my videos. "Darker than a well digger's asshole" is the actual sentiment!

      I sold it awhile back. I'm betting it's still good. I have a video showing putting the engine back in. Try watching it in reverse!
      Seriously, it really would help you taking it out. Give it a watch.

    Can you please make a video to show us how to change the timing belt? I really don’t want to take it to the dealer and I know i could do it myself. My 01 Accord EX Sedan just hit 160k miles

      I have a playlist replacing the head gasket that shows most of the timing belt replacement. And another playlist rebuilding the entire engine which also shows the timing. Good luck!

    How were you able to clean the carbon on the cylinder head? Also, did you do a coolant flush on the engine after rebuilding it? If yes, what was the procedure like?

    Have you done any AC work on this car?

    • @ktecgarage
      @ktecgarage  11 месяцев назад

      I did have to evacuate the system and recharge it, but it always worked correctly. For a Honda, anyway. Never been impressed with Hondas AC game. I do have a general understanding of its system if you have a question.

      @@ktecgarage thanks for the reply on a video many years later hah, I just got a 2002 Honda Accord with 168k miles and unfortuntately the seller failed to mention that its headgasket is on its way out (coolant loss and lots of exuast) but your videos have given me the courage to go back and rebuild it with the evergreen kit you used with your video as a guide so I can have a car throughout the rest of my college! anyways the AC in the car I bought doesnt seem to work too well it just seems to be blowing ambient air, so hopefully I can recharge it and not have any problems but I don't really have that much experience with air conditioning. I was wondering if you replaced the compressor or the condensor anytime down the line and it is surprising to hear that yours hasn't failed after all these years!

      Thank you. It's always good to hear I inspired someone!
      The AC was all original. I'd at least get a can and recharge the system and make sure the compressor kicks on. If it doesn't, it could be as simple as the pressure switch or as expensive as a bad compressor. Good luck!

    cool vid sir...I'm made this trip in the toaster oven aka element with the boss...the only thing I seem to remember is getting stuck in an accident where we sat in miles of traffic for idk like 10hrs it seemed but we met some interesting people camped on the highway lol
