Used to have lovely childhood holidays here in the 70s and 80s. Started to see the changes in the 90s and now it’s full of druggies and street drinkers passed out in the park area behind the pie, or shooting up in the streets. I still love Bournemouth but far too many smack heads there now.

They just need a few years to weather and time for plants to grow on the buildings, they are missing ivy on some walls and moss on some roofs

Amazing Polish artist. I love the owl by the Sovereign Centre. Pity that the mural at Pokesdown station was painted over, the previous one was much more interesting and had the Red Arrows on it too.

Get asked for money a lot more in Bournemouth. Boscombe has a thriving cafe scene and some really nice pubs, definitely recommend

Chaplins Pub has been voted 🗳️ best pub in the UK a few times and it’s awesome with a great vibe, cool people, and awesome live music most nights !!

If you can get permission from the council take a look at the old Winchester train tunnel. Over 100 years old and very creepy to walk down.

I know Boscombe very well and I actually prefer coffee there then in the city centre. It has lovely cafes/ restaurants and good shopping centre while there is only 8 mins to the Boscombe pier and a beach. You get there many different people. Drugs addicts do not attack random people, mostly they keep themselves to themselves and this is the same with homeless people. I started to believe that we have more homeless people sleeping and begging for money in the city centre but not as many in Boscombe. Boscome isn't that scary.

Shame bournemouth is a shit hole now 😂
