This video is pretty good. Pretty funny, but I personally disagree with some points. - Terra is an idiot This is a common joke point to a lot of people because on the surface level he’s pretty dumb. When you think about it longer though he strikes me as more emotionally desperate and vacant. Why does he follow Xehanort? Because the person he believed to be his own father Eraqus literally just stopped showing him any affection after the MoM? Why does he steal aurora’s light? Manipulated by maleficent. Why would he not question Xehanort’s knowledge? Because at this point in the story Terra would both overwhelmingly trust Xehanort to a concerning degree and still wants to protect Ventus. -Ventus reusing Roxas’ design is stupid I agreed with this for the longest time before thinking about it. That’s kind of the point? Sora melded with Ventus after he basically died in the kingdom hearts sense and the point is that lore wise, Roxas looks the way he does because Ventus bled into him when he was being created. Also a minor correction Xion is not copying Sora’s Keyblade from Roxas, Xion is actually using Ventus’ Keyblade which is an ability copied from Sora. This is why Roxas can duel wield after Xion dies, and why when Sora in KH2 taps into the strength of a drive form he can unlock his dual wielding in the same way roxas can.

Unpopular opinion: while I can see how story and other points may have issues, though everyone seems to dunk on the combat system and command deck, aswell as the boss designs and ai, get this. *it’s not badly designed, it’s just hard. Get good.*

I love this game and the story. I feel like this is Sora at his best. All the other games he’s a cliche boring pure heart hero. In this game he actually goes through different emotions and expresses himself. And the gameplay was great. Rather than just spamming the attack button like in the other games, you have to be strategic with how you build your deck

As a big Nalu fan I sadly have to agree with you on Lucy. To me she’s always been to weak, in a show where she’s pretty much the second main character she can barely beat C tier villains. On top of that hee fights are the most boring in a action shonen. She has good, no great emotional moments, but I wish she was stronger. Maybe if she would’ve had like stands/persona as he ability in of spirits it’d be better. Even Sakura gets a good fight in her vs Sasori.

the whole passing keyblades down thing also doesnt make a whole lot of sense due to a person of darkness can have a keyblade so why DID riku lose his keyblade to Sora in KH1 cuz of darkness if a person of darkness can have one thats what drives me nuts far more than BBS as a whole even WITH them "explaining" how someone is able to weild one to begin with. like yea i get it sora touched his light but like how....why..... darkness doesnt seem like an importance to why someone can weild one so....WHY lmfao wtf why

I dropped this game I tried to 100% it with the platinum Thropy but nah screw that Playing it just as it is yes then it can be fun but going for all 3 saves to 100% with the secret and final episode nope just nope

I hated the pet system in this game and wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible. I got to TWTNW with the default pets and came to the realization that the game raises to a ridiculous difficulty level without proper end game pets. It forces you into the stupid link portal drop system synergy nonsense to get high grade materials for pet crafting, and then forces you to level said pets for their abilities. It was the least fun ive ever had playing a KH game. Also, dispositions affect what skills you can see on the link board. Its not just differing attack ai.

literaly one of the worst Supergirl ever made boredeline character assassination, if you want a good supergirl run just read the early books from the 2000's there a solid 80+ issue of read. The only reason why the " story " is known is just because the art carried that book. For an out of contuniety story its a Solid book i give you that but for anything connected to supergirl as a characters its hot strash not as bad as new 52 trash but second to it.

My issue with metroid prime is a few problems first off the controls when playing the gamecube version aiming can be a pain when dealing with the omega pirate, ridley and metroid prime having terrible hit-boxes needing you to get too close to foes unless you have all four beam combos and over 150 missiles. While the trilogy ver. montion controls and the remasters double sticks aiming or motion controls options fix these issues brings another thing to the forefront these bosses are a complete joke with proper aiming the motion controls is basically a laser pointer on gun. Depending on your thoughts with glitches and out of bounds tricks prime 1 has a lot to provide in sequence breaking and speedrunning tonmake your second playthrough a blast but I can also this being a huge negative in some peoples eyes compared to 2d metroid titles when you do sequence breaking it tends to be done without glitches or out of bounds tricks.

This is easily the worst game in the series. Its not even close. The story is worse than even something like Re; Coded which was merely pointless because its actively stupid instead, the mechanics are just plainly broken (it was very easy to ACCIDENTALLY 1 shot groups of enemies with flowmotion), the balance between Sora (invincible super modes with gigantic variety) and Riku (non-invincible super modes with no variety) was just sad, the pets were so bad you had to actively not play the game for them to contribute anything all on top of copying BBS by having enemies just randomly ignore hitstun when they want and letting you just spam intentionally overpowered spells to instantly win every fight Command deck is such a terrible goddamn system, but they keep using it

I’m listening to this while attempting to beat mysterious figure with Terra to help me get through it. This fight is especially infuriating after platting KH3 and going from fluid contemporary Sora to trying to run away from monsters in my nightmares but I can’t quite seem to get my legs to work the way I need them to Terra. Ugh…

Great analysis, you really put a lot of thought into it. BBS is one of my favorite games in the series, but I understand the points you made and your opinion. Gotta say, I really like the idea of Aqua being Eraqus’s daughter.

I think making Ventus and Roxas separate characters is the stupidest decision in the series. Having Ventus be identical to Roxas was also a very bad decision. It not only added a level of expectation for those who loved Roxas character in KH2, it also prevented Ventus from effectively being *his own character*, and instead in the eyes of the fans just became a less angsty watered down version of Roxas. He was doomed from the start. Making the two characters one wouldve fit well lore wise and wouldve made sense as to why Roxas could exist seperately from Sora (as Ventus heart just made its way back into its body + amnesia) it wouldve made sense as to why Xemnas knew who he was despite him looking completely different than Sora. It wouldve made sense as to why Roxas seemingly had emotions despite allegedly not having a heart. And yes, yes ive heard the whole "BUT THATS ROXAS CHARACTER STRUGGLE" argument, and idgaf. Roxas couldve been a mind wiped Ventus while still under the assumption he was Soras Nobody. Xemnas definitely wouldve made up this lie to convince him to work for Org 13. Another argument ive heard is "he looks like ventus because he has his heart". If Roxas was a half baked Nobody with barely an identity or a face (due to sora essentially pulling out early) Why wouldnt Ventus heart just take over the body? Makes absolutely zero sense either way. A much better explanation would be if Ventus freed heart found its way back to his body. Instead Nomura came up with some convoluted plot points that broke KH lore and continuity just to justify Roxas existing as his own person and coming back alongside Ventus. Now we have essentially two of the same character running around and Nomura seemingly doesnt know what to do with either of them. I feel it wouldve been so much more interesting to see Ventus come back after having all of these experiences and growing into Roxas, apart from Aqua and Terra.
