- This project was a doozie...in-between streaming Kingdom Hearts III, working on Fairy Tail, dealing with a transition in my personal life, and just generally lacking enthusiasm to make RUclips content, this turned out to be a lot more taxing than I was bargaining for. In the end, however, I hope that the resultant video was worth it.
Join me as we take a look at a metroidvania-adjacent adventure, arguably the most well-known video game of all-time, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time!

Not finishing games is the true mark of greatness. Maybe if this "Sight" guy shouldn't have finished the game to get the true value out of OoT

This game aged horrrrrribly, not least since everything good about it is in newer games and gets done better there.
Uhm... I dunno what you're talking about. I think Ocarina of Time graphics look pretty awesome even today. In fact i love how dark and moody everything looks, the 3DS remake ruined the entire game by making the color palette saturated as f.
dark and moody definitely works (I would personally just call it flat in this case) but I don't think it should look that way in the child portions

This is my favorite 3D Zelda artstyle it's a shame it was never replicated. Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask look freaking awesome because they look dark but still have color. Meanwhile i hated Twilight Princess graphics they were so boring.
Closest thing we ever got to a sequel to this artstyle is that Spaceworld concept of Wind Waker and the Smash Bros. Melee Link models.
