I am loving this Car!! I purchased the 2025 Nissan Kicks SR the 2 tone Gun metal & Scarlett Red ( in the Video) last week. I'm very impressed with the Look, Ride and the amenities. Nissan you did Good!
Ever since I saw the new kicks, I was very impressed. For the price it looks upscale, very modern, very unique and I know I’m gonna start seeing a ton of them on the road. Love the panoramic roof the new infotainment system, the rims, great driver Assistance. I would definitely mob one of these.👌
Enjoyable video. Liked the humor. I have my favorite colors and the car in the video is one of them. I have the previous Kicks model. It is the one you drove in your previous Kicks video but with black alloy wheels and the shark fin antenna. It is almost two years old. It was nice to see my car in this video. I still think it looks good.
@@senseicorey9979 I’ve had my Nissan Sentra for five years with zero issues and I love it. I was looking into a small SUV with good fuel economy and a nice look and this checks the boxes for me
@@senseicorey9979 Not true, I’ve owned two Nissan models with CVT and never had any issues outside of regular maintenance. Plus my local Nissan dealership has lifetime powertrain warranty included on all brand new models
Id buy one of these today. Cash. If I could get it without the CVT. Honestly. As someone who has been a technician for over 30 years nothing is more well known in the auto industry to be bad than Nissan CVT transmissions. The'll never overcome it. They need to offer conventional transmissions.
Hmm, seems to tick all the boxes, I love a small car that actually fits large people in all four seats. (I also love a real spare tire, but at least that’s an option) the grill is ugly, but the rest of the car looks cool. As for the cvt, I knew someone who drove Uber and had a Nissan Altima, his mechanic gave it a transmission fluid change at 30,000 miles, maybe less, and his car held up just fine. I on the other hand, made the mistake of getting a transmission fluid change in my 6speed auto Camry at 75,000 miles and two weeks after that I fried the transmission. It was a $4,000 mistake. So given these facts, plus the case that this is a new transmission from Nissan, I’d be willing to give them a shot.. especially given that it has such comfortable seats!
Did you get just a fluid change, or did you get a flush? Never do a flush, especially on a car with high mileage. Also, only a change not a flush on a CVT.
@@WildWildWeasel frontier. pretty sure titan was killed.. or maybe it was just the diesel. either way the frontier is the go to for what must truck guys are saying what makers sure be going for.

are you serious? This fully loaded 2025 Nissan Kicks looks like a $100,000 luxury SUV with it's fancy wheels, zero gravity leather NASA seats, premium Bose speakers on the head rest, huge touchscreens etc. 30k is a screaming bargain!
Great review Zack! I'm guessing it didn't feel faster than the old Kicks because even though it has more horsepower, it also weighs several hundred pounds more, right? I'm eagerly looking forward to your 2025 Corolla review, when will it be out?
I've had a Nissan Kicks and put on 50,000 miles for 5 years and the cvt has been flawless... Talking about all the old cvt problems is like complaining about the lousy pictures the cell phone you had takes... Try a newer one, they're better!
Humans are dumb. People live in the past. Saying the Nissan CVT is bad is the same as saying Hyundai's and Kia's are rust buckets. Yeah, maybe 20 years ago, but not anymore.
Funny I just saw a commercial before watching this video and was wondering if it was in a manual like the last gen kickz, smfh Nissan sure knows how to ruin things with CVT and less manuals, hopefully they make. Se-r spec v version that’s manual
This suv reminds of how car makers milk out new models, first year, the inside and outside impressive at the car shows and the price seems great. But there always seems to be a but. Why? Why? 141 horsepower. I think everyone knows it was to keep the price as close to $30,000 as possible. As far as the cvt, most cars in this price point are cvts, (chevy, buick, mazda) exceptions in this price point. I think the kicks did a bunch so right. But like many others in this price point there are shortcomings. As an around town grocery getter this is a very nice car, the ride quality and sound insulation could be better (ask subaru how they did it.) After driving the kicks I just couldnt love it, its just lacking in highway passing power, especially in hilly terrain. In this price point Mazda 30 has the sportiest ride, even with the non turbo, but it has pathetic legroom in the back seat. Basically unusable for normal size adults. Of all the cuvs I drove in this price point and I drove them all. For my wants and needs I was just drawn to the subaru crosstrek sport, it isnt the best in anything except maybe ride quality, which was impressive on crappy roads even, just had the right amount of power, space, ride quality, and fun to drive. Toss in the best all wheel drive system available. Is just hard to beat. Nissan kicks is getting close, just needs a few more updates
Man I like this one a lot...just lose the stock wheels and put some rotiform steelie-style (I believe they are called "STL"?) wheels and she'd be golden. (yes the wheels are ugly xD)
If a car is going to come with a cvt, it needs to have as little lag as possible. No one likes or wants a transmission that legit acts like the car has massive turbo lag.
Hard pass. It's twice too large for my needs,it has CVT, way too many features I don't want to pay for and it's far too expensive. Also, since when is AWD a " must have" for city dwellers? It's insane.
Alright. No one cares about auto up/down windows in the real world out here. We're more interested in things like longevity of the drivetrain. Corrosion warranty, history. How is this car going to be to own Zack? What are owners of 1-2-3 year old Kicks saying? How are Nissan owners feeling about how Nissan takes care of them/their vehicle after the purchase?
Its the same power train as the Sentra so look that up for reliability. From what I've herd., the engine is boring but in a good way. All vehicles in this segment are focused on how many features can they put into it under a specific price point. It's features over performance

Looooove this car! Great review ✨
My daughter has a 2024 and she loves it.
1:49 the SR and AWD logos are at different angles. Really nice attention to detail there.
One of the reasons I was not looking at the Kicks was the fast it was not AWD, especially here in Alaska. the redesing seems worth a look 😀
The ProPILOT Assist hands-on , a feature only available in high end Rogue, is a nice to have on this starter SUV.

Just follow the fluid change intervals and don't drive like a dick. You failed both.
this is tin can mobile
Old news!
Nissan's newest improved CVTs are proving to be much more reliable than the old Jatcos.
I really like it but I had a horrible experience with a Maxima CVT transmission which left a very bad taste in my mouth
Love how you brought a friend too join!
Nissan is fantastic. The Sentra is better than the Corolla and the Frontier is better than the Tacoma. This Kicks is sweet.
This is a must copp i seen it and nissan did a great job

The gauge cluster/infotainment setup looks very similar to Kia's.
That shirt is awesome!
Man I wish I´d know what that $60k car is.
But Nissan also finally did automatic windows in the back after what felt like a century...
Wish they'd just lower the damn price. $30k off the lot (taxes and stuff) is TOO much for this....
Love the design, the two tone paint, seat design, etc. i just hate automatics!
Why do we not get manuals any more? I have yet to meet someone that likes CVT transmissions
After owning a manual, a CVT is like a breath of fresh air for me. No shifting, no human error. Just put your foot down and go.
2:43 this is not true, only the SR trim gets the 12" dashboard, the SV gets two smaller screens on the dash that simulate being one big screen.
