Lol some people shouldn't be coaches
Chip Kelly should never be allowed to the city of Philadelphia ever again and I'm not even an Eagles fan
Love the vid. Chip was the ultimate Franchise Mode coach, didn’t understand how to deal with men.
That’s because he’s a pervert.
Especially Black Men!
All facts
If the Eagles hadn’t fired Andy Reid the season his son died then Chip Kelly would’ve never been there.
Reid had 14 seasons with the Eagles and his team was averaging .500 when McNabb left.
@@Simpsons01111 same Reid who's won two Superbowls with The Chiefs
Or are you gonna be a dick and give all the success to Mahomes?
@@Simpsons01111 idk feel like with the 2000-2005 run dude kinda earned his spot i wasn’t to mad at the firing since it felt like his time was up w us but to see what he’s gone on to do in kc is insane
@@zackknight8955 yeah same.
He might know his x & o's but how clueless is he to actually think the way he could treat multimillionaire professional athletes like 18 year old college players.
And then he refused to recognize that was his issue, blamed it on the top guys who spoke back (just like they should have) and traded our best players for nothing.
Dude SHADY was top tier! We traded him for NOTHING
The one thing I never understood and still don’t is why the owner gave a first time NFL Coach so much player personnel power. Why would he do that? The result…Chip made horrible decisions!
4-12 Andy Reid - his son died that season. Eagles ownership was wrong to do that
No they weren't. Andy's kids were complete trainwrecks for years before that. From ODs to drug selling, to prison time. He couldn't control them at the time and obviously he still can't. They were rolling up to the brothas in West and North Philly in $70k Vets rocking think chains, blastin 50. They were actual drug dealers. Straight felons. The Eagles spent a lot of money trying to protect Andy from the press. What were they supposed to do? His son was a dope dealing junkie and OD'd. Now his remaining son destroys a family in KC by plowing into them drunk. He got drunk at work in the stadium (his high paying non-job) drove from the stadium and permanently disabled a child.
Unfortunately he spent years focusing on his son’s legal issues, I don’t agree with the ownership but that’s why we don’t own an NFL team.
Had a 1st year college university baseball coach completely dismantle the team after going to regionals year before, all because of his ego and him thinking it was his way or the highway, started all his juco guys. We started out the season 1-10🤣 He had to have a meeting with our old coach to try and turn around the season. Sometimes coaches ego ruin them, they overcoach, sometimes you let the players play when your team is full of studs💪🏼
I feel like the term super team is not the same in the NFL as it is in other sports
I would agree. Tom Brady would have zero super bowls if he had Randy Moss and Terrell Owens as WR, but had Ezekiel Elliott as his Center. Because nobody can get open in .34 seconds.
I'm not even an Eagles fan and I HATED what he did to that team.
Nick Foles will forever be loved in this city.
Eagles fan here. And holy hell did he blow.
With that being said it’s still on sight if I ever catch chip kelly outside
All those moves set them up with the team that won the Super Bowl
Chip, if you ever step foot in Philadelphia, you have a bounty on your head
Its a very unpopular opinion but I think the Chip Kelly era was necessary for the Eagles to win under Doug Pederson.
Bought in Foles

Really good and informative video
CHip really screwed up the team. He didn't even know which players would work in his offense. Murray was a north-south runner, and Chip had him running sweeps/stretch plays. Howie Roseman is viewed as a genius for making the trades he made to dig the team out of the hole Chip[ had left them in.
I remember that Bill Belichick had changed the Patriots offense to more of a Chip Kelly style offense by picking his brain and that helped enhance Brady in the second half of his career. But all that was "all Brady" according to Asante Samuels and Sahdy McCoy. I have always say that narrative is not true. That offense completely changed and was a pace offense that utilised the tightends and slot receivers not the receivers.
the only thing is that, It might be true because obviously it was Tom's great Skill
No one talks about how Dip Chip Dip bad moves led to the moves that got us a S.B. Alonso getting traded help us move up to get Carson.
When you see this it makes what doug & h9wie did to win a SB even more amazing
Oh it's on site
Howie Roseman is 1 and 2 in the Super Bowl while Chip Kelly is out of the NFL.
Chip came in the NFL used to having dealt with teenagers and very young adults thinking it would translate and failed in epic proportion
Chip was the worst. Gutted the team. Jackson should have stayed. McCoy should have stayed. Vick should have stayed.
Chip dismantled a team team that Andy Reid only got to 4-12? Remember....Ried got fired. Chip took that same roster to 10-6 2 years in a row. Reid failed.
He traded two players coming off their best seasons for NOTHING! You know what he could have gotten for shady?!?
Now reid has 3 rings and Eagles have 1 lol.
@@joelcarlisle1389 Seeing Reid, Vick , Jackson and McCoy hate in the comments is really pathetic
Multiple clowns in the comments here keep defending Chip Kelly
I mean damn did Reid , Vick or Macklin bang their mom or take their girls?
Carson wentz is a perfect example of a one hit wonder
As much as I dislike chip I would not change anything that happened we ended up with a super bowl a couple years after he tried to sabotage us and it failed in the end
Eagles would of been a dynasty if Reed didn’t leave and was happy there
Chip destroyed our team 🤬🤬🤬
I wish we would’ve kept Andy Reid 😢
We needed to part with Andy, but Chip certainly wasn't the answer.
Don’t get me wrong chip was bad…
But desean and Mccoy are yapping when they say they ruined a superbowl roster… we did not have a Super Bowl roster at all whatsoever.
We had 3 all pros in 2013… Evan Mathis Jason peters and lesean McCoy… we had nobodies on that defense… for them to say that they had the squad knowing that the core of Jackson Vick and McCoy were always partying late night and always in the hoods of Philly wether it’s at a battle rap spot or just in the trenches of wherever.. imma stop you right there rn…
we were such a fringe team from 2008-2014
They can say all they want about Vick having to compete against foles but Vick had 2 chances to advance us past the WILDCARD… and he threw it to the defenders chest… so I don’t wanna hear that bs
Racist much boy?
@@thepubknight6144 he did not say anything racist little boy. Take your emotions out of it you woke sissy
Lmfaooo a lot of the players on the 2017 roster were acquired from 2012 to 2017 Vick got benched for foles who went 27-2 Vick couldn’t stay healthy and never even won a playoff game in Philly 😂 only went to 1 as starter , oh also desean Jackson and Vick were out getting litt with meek during the seasons etc etc veterans who prob didn’t put in that extra mile during the week if not for chip there is no pederson without pederson there is no Super Bowl without chip there’s maybe no 27-2 mvp foles as well as more average a year in 2014 but got hurt with a 2 loss record 🙄 Andy had a lot of personal issues going on and the team wasn’t what it needed to be for him
So I'm not sure what your point is. He sent away the team's best offensive weapons. I can only guess you agreed with this move. LoL ok.
Lol players can’t drink on off days??? What does Vick and Jackson spending their free time how they want with anything.
The dude actually said Nick Kolb was a better QB than McNabb and Vick 😂😂😂
Josh McDaniels was las vegas' chip kelly.
Don't remind us.
Didn't have to show a "file" on the video

Chip Kelly is a terrible coach and im glad the eagles were able to win a Superbowl after having a idiot in control.🏆🏆
anyone who thinks this way isnt all that bright....typical for most eagles fans. focus on his bad decisions...not all the things he did well. im an eagles fan since vermeil was hired. chip took a 4-12 team with mike vick as qb ...a guy who couldnt consistently play on schedule if his life depended on it.
i had major beef with chip when he started vick over foles.....vick ultimately showed his lack of a functioning brain against the packers in the playoffs. he makes a throw to get us into the red zone then on 1st and ten he throws an uneccessary pick in the end zone.
DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON DJAX....the one trick pony. his 1300 yards in 2013 are the most inconsequential 1300 yards ever gained by an nfl player. if you dont believe me take a look at his stats game by game...youll see he wasnt a factor. ive looked at it, im sure chip did too.
weve had FARRRR worse eagles coaches...chip made mistakes but who hasnt? im sure Reid wishes he hadnt stuck with mcnabb for so long.
Why was he hired to begin with?
He was the hot shot college coach at the time and Jim Harbuagh probably renewed interest from folks on that
@bigbearkat2010
The NFL still obsesses over Gun slinging pass happy air it out offense that have a short time span in the NFL because great defensive coordinators figure it out and the rest of the league follow suit
The reason the Pats offense from 2007-2014 was so dominate was because Bill Belicheck adapted his offense every year as someone else mentioned
Chip Kelly = Phil Jackson = Greg Popovich smh take away Jordan, Kobe & Duncan the triangle offense becomes a below avg motion offensive. The defensive part becomes pure trash. Now that the ncaa players can careless about a BS scholarship and make their own money the playing field is more balanced. The big name collages and coaches are overrated. How many rookie NBA coaches won big in the past 15 years with the best players in the league on their teams. Then get fired 1 or 2 years later without the support of them same players. Finally my favorite Thibs with the Knicks is getting a contract extension because 3 players from Villanova have excellent chemistry from playing years together. The entire management was about to be fired thankfully Brunson followed his Dad to NYC and saved everyone's job but the Coach is getting all the praise. Coaches are by far the most overrated part of sports!
Eagles were in the super bowl 2 years later..he didnt destroy anything lmao
Chip Kelly still has a job coaching? You are Fired in Donald Trump voice

Lmao!
Only in PHILLY
These videos are for 25 year old n under lol
People forget Chip Kelly was the most loved coach in Philly in 2013. People can say what they want but he turned that team around and that offense with Foles was insane. Especially given it’s Nick Foles and not a star qb.
Amazing football mind but bad people skills.
Huh? His system is struggling in the colligate level, 🤡
This is just a lie.
Absolute cap

So now when I sit back and look at it and see the eagles the super bowl champs hey tear apart tear apart on because at the end of the day we got to we got a championship out of it and no offense LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson but I truly look back and I look at the situation like I don't see when in the championship with them two pieces
The biggest issue is Kelly was uncomfortable with black players that he had no control of them. Meaning, he could not force his monitoring tactics on them.
The keep it real after winning the super bowl I'm not even mad about him doing what he did because the super bowl came out of it and rather some of y'all want to like it or not at the end of the day we won a super bowl with some of his pieces
Cool, but real fans understand legacy. I went to a lot of games in 2011,12,13 and 14. My team had McCoy, Macklin and Jackson. I was happy to have literally top five at each position. As a black man I don't and will never tolerate or accept racist, even if it means a ring. This probably affects me and you differently and that's cool. We don't all hold how we are respected as black men that important. I went nuts in 2017 with the championship. But I'd rather have seen what we could have done with the definite HoF McCoy and the most dangerous big play threat WR in NFL history.
