Looks like folks on the Mississippi Gulf coast & New Orleans had better watch this one. A storm coming from the southeast is a worse case for the New Orleans area.

I would put a little more stock in the GFS model with this particular storm, it was one of only a few models that actually showed the sytem to track towards the gulf on basically all of its runs. So far seems to be correct there, now the other models are catching up and showing similar tracks as well. Maybe it stalls, maybe it doesnt… people should prepare for worst case scenarios and hope for better
A little after 8 am and it's over 80 degrees and the air quality is BAD. Cat colony houses are raised up in case of flooding and lots of bowls of water all around their shady spots.
@@nanhand99 it's my calling, I volunteer with a rescue and any cats I help get to the vet get to live on my property with plenty of food and water. If I can get them human friendly again and litter box trained, it gets them adopted and off the streets. I have 20-30 in my care right now and have had many actually get homes. I'm just trying to make a difference where I can.

Being a Fl native you can prepare , but you can’t prevent what tropical storms or hurricanes have in store. Just do your best to have plenty of water , batteries, canned food or MRE’s & most important is a generator.
Something like this happened last year in the Mediterenian were system Daniel stalled for several days bringing 40 to 50 inches of rain in Central Greece were villages had water literaly to the rooftops of houses and mudslides had catastrophic effects in my city of Volos.Hope something like this doesnt happen
