That is the kind of car where once in a while you need to get on a nice straight away and just fucking send it. The music from those pipes is legendary.
thanks for the video and for bringing back some great memories for me. I had an 80 Z-28 with the factory four speed and a 3.73 rear end. Nothing more fun than flooring it and watching the induction scoop inlets open up creating that really cool inlet injection sound. Wish I had kept that car...... and my 70 1/2 Z-28 as well. It had the factory Hurst four speed with a 4.10 rear and the 350 cu LT-1 solid lifters engine. It was fast, very fast.
Re: The air induction vents/ scoops. I love that about the 80 model. I had two 79's, one automatic and one stick, no air induction either...lol. Got a 79 TA for my 81 high school graduation. 403 olds, 6.6 liter automatic. My friend had a 4spd, 80 Z28, his dad bought him for graduation. The TA was rated at only 185hp, the Z28 on 190. You would of thought that Z28 had 50 more hp, not just 5, when it came to racing 0-60... He always smoked me. One day he let me drive it, you're right, it was a blast flooring it, riping thru the gears, and watching those vents, click, clang, open and shut...cool as hell, the good Ole days.... Btw, I got him top end by a bit...lol
@@r32juan well technically it’s a sports car and on top of that it’s now a collectors item so I would figure it’s about that. My insurance on my economy car is about $150 but it all depends on your insurance company and if it has a salvage title and other stuff
i got a roller body chassis body work done protected in silver. This one waiting to build. i'll build it for ya. Big low end rpm sleeper like this one but more power, and not obnoxiously loud , 180* headers purr and growl with a lot of power.and speed and cruise. Tight handling, steering, and braking.
Weak. Clearly your are hesitating to reveal how weak your beautiful car is. Spend some money - get a real engine and transmission. Then make a video. This is sad.
One of the best-looking versions of the Camaro!

The way he shifts is nice & gentle.

This car suits Billy perfectly.
I had a 1980 camaro. What a beautiful 😍 💖 to the engine
What’s your exhaust setup?
Really nice Z28 !
One day I have to own a Camaro exactly like this except in white with blue stripes and blue interior
Standgas 21l/100m? :D
my dad had a 1980's z28 camaro it was also a 350 v8
Granny shifting, not double clutching like you should lol
Cam specs and exhaust?
Is the hood induction solenoid not working or is your foot not heavy enough?
Most definitely doesn't. That too me was the big selling point in the car. Had two 79's, was never able to snatch up an 80.
this is my dream car
I have a barn find off the road since 07 original paint very little rust was on it the only problem it has a automatic not for long
My brothers first cars were a 1964 pontiac Bonneville and a 1981 camaro
Is the engine all factory or did u put a performance cam and other parts on it?
It‘s stock!
@@ClassicCarRanchPOV Yeah, right.
No way is that stock.
@@ClassicCarRanchPOV Bought mine when i was 16 back in '85. Nice car and nice try on it being stock.
@@blarson8111 why wouldnt it be stock?
How much would insurance be monthly if i got one of those?
Probably around $200-$300
@@prestontodd9170 300 alone for the camaro?

Call hagerty few hundred per year
Saginaw 4 speed or the Super T-10? It sounded like the Saginaw.
a lot of power for that saginaw to handle.
From 77-81' the 80 had the most horsepower at 190net.
HOW MUCH?!

What?
Are you on crack?
Deutlich geiler als dieser EV Schrott von heute der rumfährt.
My grandma drives harder than that!
Based on the way this car was test driven id never buy it. It's not a new car ! No care given going over bumps etc. No thx !
Not driven hard at all, why would you expect this to be a new car?

Lol not everyone wants to go fast and that 350 is plenty buildable but this is the perfect highway cruise car cause it'll sing at 70mph
Thats sad cutting one down from behind a keyboard. Lets see yours!
u must not know cars lol
