When you think this guns between the 152mm of a light cruiser and the 203mm heavy cruiser both able to kill a light cruiser with one shot... (Obviously if it hits the right place) Destroyer's tended to have guns of anything from 100mm to I'm not sure but at the very most 150mm.

Really enjoyed this video. I have seen this tank in books, where it is usually glossed over with just an uninformative sentence or two, and a grainy photo. Here we get an entire episode about the beast, pictures beside the (mostly) real thing as well as historical photos, and a great narrative by our favorite orator! Excellent!

It wasn't supposed to ever stay in range of enemy tanks from what I remember reading. It's why the turret had thin armour. It could out range just about everyone else and dismantle them from a distance.
Seeing as this thing is basically OP at tier 10 without the autoloader Wargaming will undoubtedly say yes and give it a 5 shot 2 second intraclip reload autoloader. €60,- Comrade.
does it get the slightly better mobility tier X used to have 3 updates ago? or does it get even better mobility/camo due to the lack of Turret and how much can they sell it for? also make the ammo really expensive but give it prefferential MM and you have a WG winner! They nerfed the FV4005 in game because all the high scoring games were done in them, and obviously that makes Mother Russia look bad!

I have definitely commented this on another video, but the IS-3 is one of my favorite tanks just because of all the tanks like this made in response to it
And yet in battle the IS-3 had a very bad habit of turning up on the losing side. Especially in the Israeli wars. That's the problem with having the tank to beat, everyone focuses on beating it and they usually succeed. Just ask the Germans

You just stated the purpose for the Russian version of this... The SU-100Y. Originally built as mobile coastal defense, and then used to fire at tanks and bunkers. Also the German St. Emil could be wedged into that category.
Me thinks that a team of designers clearly got drunk one night and one of them showed them a photo of a KV-2 and he retorted, "huh you think that's big, come back in a weeks time and I shall show what big really looks like", and that's the resulting machine :)
I have seen that in person when we visited the Museum, its a gate guard. I assumed it was mobile Artilary because the gun is freaking enormous! The armour at the back of the turret is wafer thin BTW. It can be seen clearly through a door at the back of the turret if memory serves!

This was my favourite vehicle that I saw at bovington! Plus it was sat outside so I had to see twice (going in/leaving). Had a great time at the museum and will definitely be going back the next time I get down south! 👍

The Chieftan would at least fit in the turret of this one. But in WoT or WT presumably it could obliterate you from the other side of the map with ease, assuming it could see you.

The fv4005 I think is the British KV2 except its an auto-loader.
only the open top variant you see in the pictures and doesnt exist anymore, the one with turret is loaded by hand
KV-2 if the KV-2 could penetrate six inches of 60 degree sloped armour at over 1800 meters and has a shell that weighed an extra 21kg
