Thanks, especially for those lizards with the long gestation period and the generation system for monarchs. I had no idea of either.

Where do you get these mini clips of animals? They're incredible!

Hi Peter, it's all stock media from a handful of sites. The best by far is Shutterstock, the cheetah chasing the gazelle and the eagle flying after the bait are both from that site, in addition to most of the photos of lesser known species used in other videos. It's quite good fun to just search the site for different species and genera, if you like frogs, try searching the site for the genus Boophis... there are some really cool photos/species!

What does a larger brain size warrant in K-strategist species given that bigger brain doesn’t equal smarter individual

Thanks so much, Clive! That's a great question, I did a little bit of research and found an interesting concept called Encephalization Quotient (EQ) which is "a measure of relative brain size". Interestingly, there is a graph on Science Direct that shows that both humans and dolphins have similarly high EQs, whereas sheep and goats have low EQs. So I would imagine that some K-strategists have larger brains just as a consequence of being larger but it is the relationship between brain size and body size that is more important in determining intelligence (I'm sure it's a lot more complicated than that! But thought you might find that interesting)

I see that you decided to keep the video length short despite resources being plenty to make it bigger. I suspect this is for environmental reasons.
