What are your thoughts about Carmine Lupertazzi? Let me know down below 👇🏻
He doesn’t wear shorts.
Love it! And him! Top tier boss for sure 💯
Too much gherkins.
Wait, when did Butchie become boss?
@@jayegeecorporate8788 when Phil died
Historically, Carmine always said the Sopranos theories was nothing more than a glorified channel. Plain and simple, We decapitate, and we do business with Borko.
I agree in spirit, but I gotta counsel.
@@arhandemirok2189 We got redundant upper management, bleeds off half the ad revenue. We take em out, absorb the whole fuckin thing.
The Mexican MR BOSS FTW
Take out an entire fucking channel?
Sopranos Theories ain’t goin no place
Carmine thinks the world of you
Give him my love
He asks about you, ...questions like "who's that guy??".
Your father got run over by a trolley, right?
He said that?
@@nickjohnson6368I will. He’ll like hearing that.
I'm glad you made this video about carmine. He asks about you.
Not only was he a good boss, i think he's one of the best side characters of the whole show.
He is so brilliantly written with how small his role is and how little of a scene he has.
In all of those scenes, he perfectly represents the cunning, manipulative, and smart boss.
I love watching all his scenes because somebody can point out the little detail in his character, and it would enhance him tenfold.
The fact that he subtly brings Tony down by mentioning the psychiatrist, pat under Tony's coat to check for wire, even the more obvious ones like manipulating his son or Tony to whack Johnny Sack.
Not to mention, he is extremely funny and entertaining to watch. He is just as good of a character as his son, imo. Maybe even more.
A Don doesn't wear shorts
You mean as good as is son like funny ? He will be, even more so. But until now, it will be hard to verify that you think he will be as funny as his son
He was, quite literally, an OG. Basically Carlo Gambino fictionalized.
I appreciate your thoughts.
Carmine was definitely the best boss on the show he wasn't a hot head he was calmer, and his decision we're fair
Carmine Jr, wasn't dumb, he is richer than his old man by legal means, and did the right thing to stay away from the conflict while both sides killed each other, and took the remans for him with butch on his side.
"With Paulie being a mole", he'd only be the second biggest mole Johnny Sack dealt with
When I first watched the series, I didn't think much of Carmine Sr. at all. Now I think he's a fascinating character, and the most competent mobster who isn't named Livia. It's fun studying how he runs his family before his naturally occurring death!
I appreciate your thoughts
@@Carmine_Lupertazzi *kicks a fat envelope up to the boss*
There should be a boss rank tier in a video. Carmine to me is #1 because he's super cautious when it comes to business. He was an excellent character.
Carmine was a real Pro. He was in another level
John mentioned in jail that Carmine would not put a hit on someone if they were bringing in money. No matter how bad the offense was. Once they stopped bringing in money, then he would green light the hit.
*gets a notification for Sopranos Theories*
Carmine - "answer the fuckin thing"
Fun Fact: The actor that played Carmine was the actual Tony Lip from Green Book
Tony Lip??? Tony B!
@@bosspure123123Fuckin’ Wierdo, if you ask me
I wonder if he was an FBI informant since he didn't get caught for so long, since he patted Tony down once to see if he's not doing the same.
Doubt it since Carmine was the big fish the feds were trying to catch.
If he was the Tony and johhny would be in prison for life
That's an interesting theory. Could also explain how he stated boss for so long. Would be like The Departed's Frank Costello, didn’t give up anyone who wasn't going down already.
He would have been caught lol. Some capo of the NY family ratted johnny out. It would have gone up to carmine if he was alive
@@SnowBird-jc5id True, they even said that at one point too. Lol
He was a real Don. He didn’t wear shorts.
Carmine had major income OUTSIDE of construction, Johnny Sack did not. That's why he was trying to get Carmine clipped.
Smelled burning hair during this video
Wait a minute...Phil Leotardo did time in prison? Is this a well-known fact?
He was a cook. Made grilled cheese
@@kethrick8176 I heard he also led Kleenex quality control.
Yeah, but Phil was very subtle about letting people know about it…
Invented point shaving
I'm a new subscriber as of today. Watched several of your vids last night and doing more now. You're doing a very good job.
I always considered him (Carmine Sr.) the same as you, the boss of all bosses throughout the series. Whatever power Tony had, and Tony had some, Carmine Sr. had 10X the power, 10X the muscle and 20x the $$$.
He'll be happy to hear this
He was very allegorical
This channel is great!
Well-written & well-acted character. The connection with Castellano is tendentious. Carmine was a business-minded racketeer. Big Paul was a businessman. Carmine’s ingenuity was a gravy train for others, such as when Uncle Junior earned a Fleetwood through point shaving. Paul refused to let the Gambino street faction wet its beak in his rackets. If anyone is based partly on Castellano, it’s Junior himself in his brief but greedy & tone-deaf stint as boss. Also, there’s been no boss of bosses since Luciano had Masseria & Maranzano whacked, & nothing in the Sopranos suggests Carmine has any power over other NY families.
You got it reversed actually. Carmine had other revenue streams aside from construction when at the time John didn't. So Carmine's decision to shut down their joint construction projects hurt John the most.
One amazing part about the shows writing is highlighting the Cosa Nostra ability to say something without actually saying it. The conversation between Carmine telling Tony to whack Johnny Sac and Tony telling Ralph that Jackie Jr needs to go and it's Ralphs fault that lead to that illustrates that beautifully...
One of the most solid characters!
Lupertazzis?! Glorified CREW!
Carmine was one of my favorites he just looked so cool and had that Don energy
Carmine was the least homicidal and most honorable mobster in the whole show. He only killed when it was ultimately necessary and as the very last resource.
I took Sopranos Theories to dinner last night. Borko's got a big problem, kid.
Carmine was the best boss
He didn’t have the makings of a varsity athlete
But did Carmine Sr. have the makings of a varsity athlete? Curious minds want/need to know...
He was healthy as a fucking rhino
@@dwaynethemineraljohnson412 True. Wait, get that egg salad out of his mouth!
100 percent agree
Johnny Sack gotta be best husband next to Bobby Bacala
I liked carmine and always felt he was the best boss he was never emotional it was always about business rip tony lip
Carmine was the one character that represented all the NY families, and in that position presented a steady force of the character. He was well liked and certainly respected. He bestowed on us a wonderfully off beat character in Carmine Jr. who probably today is still running things in the BK. Yeah Carmine Sr....Tony Lip....great character, great story. The Boss
I'm guessing that this perspective only takes into account the bosses appearing in The Sopranos. I'd be curious to hear what you think about how Carmine, Sr. compared with his contemporary, fictional New York family bosses (4).
Interesting perspective. You are, however, incorrect.
Carmine Sr. was, in fact, a D+, over-all.
Fact is that Carmine and John were in business with Jersey, constantly and intimately.
This "acceptance of Jersey as an actual family" was never seen by the other New York families. We hear Carmine slander Jersey as a glorified crew. However, that comes off as something Carmine has heard the other, more superior, New York bosses say repeatedly to each other for the past 30 years.
I suspect that every other New York boss considered Carmine to be the runt.
That is my take.
edit- Also... Carmine Sr. valued money over this thing of theirs. John should have been granted his request.
I had recently bought the box set at a reduced price and it was my first time watching The Sopranos. What can you say? F***ing brilliant 😂 I enjoyed it. Loved the finale and it really gets you going on all the possibilities. I went through hopefully he lives to he probably got whacked. But I have four theories of what happened in the end. 1. Tony gets whacked. 2. Tony lives by way counter hitmen. Tony knew all the ways of how the mafia and had counter hitmen in the diner. 3. The Feds arrest him at the moment Meadow comes in and that’s the end of his reign. Tony ends up in a situation like Johnny Sacks with his assets frozen and years in prison. 4. Meadow dies like how it went down on Godfather 3 but this least believable of the four. David Chase was brilliant to leave us on that note.
I bet Carmine may have had a suspicion about what Tony and Johnny were planning during the disagreement over the real estate scams. Deciding to go from not backing down on his share to settling just as moves are being made behind him is a little convenient. Maybe he got a feeling that something was happening, he did survive at the head of a criminal organization for a long time.
Junior had a lot of regard for Carmine, but I don’t think it was mutual.
Carmine took over for Emilio Barzini.
Healthy as a rhino that one.
Carmine doesn’t know who I am.
Very allegorical video
I'm glad you noticed that. The sacred and the propane
Considering the amount
Of money tabled about in the show
I don’t think Johnny sack house & car
Were too much for carmine or any boss to get. This is like 20-25 years ago
Real estate prices & car prices were cheaper
$1,000,000-2,000,000 for a house & $100,000 for a car is nothing crazy
Tony “dead (whacked) or in the can”. But that’s not how Carmine went out
They don’t say the Lupertazzis are the largest or most powerful of the 5 families. I personally got the vibe they were the smallest of them 5
A boss should never wear short pants
There’s no stigmata these days
Why the dis against my fav character Little Carmine? He was the biggest winner on the show.
Is that because he realized his limitations without letting ego get in the way?
...no more uploads SopranosTheories
...they're hurtful...and destructive...
😂😂😂
Soprano family? Carmine historically said that they were a glorified crew.
Him and those fish lips of his.
No way could Tony be considered a good boss
Oh he was a horrible boss. Multiple capos either died or turned informant on his watch he brought his family to brink of oblivion with new york
The censorship on this channel is just as bad as the Talking Sopranos channel.
His accomplice??
He was more like Gambino than Castellano. Gambino died of old age.
Phil did time in jail?
Yeah, but nobody knows how long.
So disrespectful…. To compare Carmine to Paul Castelanno…I think you meant Carlo Gambino
Who's welfare check do i gotta cash to get a burger around here
a don doesn’t wear shorts
diamond dallas paige isnt even in the UFC
Didn't Jackie Sr have a son?
How was Tony seen in a weaker manner, according to “old school”? Carmine said straight to Tony’s face that he has no issue with therapy.
“Be a better friend to yourself.”
I think you’re reaching there.
it’s hard to catch but he was being sarcastic & mocking tony during that whole interaction lol
Ironically little Carmine isn't that big of an idiots because he never did time and seem a lot happier than Jhon or Tony
Tony is a terrible boss....almost all of his captains had flipped and most of them hated him, he had one loyal guy (Silvio)....The show tells us repeatedly Tony isn't a good boss.
He got too greedy. He was a decent boss early on.
From season 1-5 he was decent season 6 though…. buddy might have been the worst don in history 😂
@@Crazy_e193I’ve often thought that Season 6 was Tony’s effort at self-destruction. That’s why I think he called in a hit on himself at the very end.
A don doesn't wear shorts
Imagine butchie during his rein of ny hes not even qualified to be boss of that glorified crew in jersery
I loved the Sopranos but the various families, bosses, scams, double crosses and who hated who was confusing over the years.
I enjoyed the occasional black humor as well as the well acted drama.
Carm's cousin? Carmine or Carmela?
Dont think thats weird for a video like this? People only call Carmela "Carm" so im guessing thats who you're talking about, I dont remember who's cousin it was but you haven't mentioned Carmela yet in the video. If you mean her, say Carmela. Dont say "Carm" for a video ABOUT a different character, with the exact same preface in their name lmao. And ppl gonna like "well go watch the show again" but its obvious half the people who watch these videos do it IN PLACE of watching the show
He didnt "side with Ralph" thats a dumb dishonest misrepresentation of that situation. He had no proof of what was said. He was told he'd get what he wanted if he said who told him, and they backed it up. He refused, end of story
Wait. Tony was a great boss ??
Ralph slept with ginny?
Carmine was best boss on the show, because it was all about the money nothing personal. My option I think Carmine had his pick to succeeded him it will be Tony, he took a special interest in Tony . Like him Tony was about the money. But, to Tony othere things , and personal beefs got in the way.
it's amazing that you can get so many views with such lazy imitations of videos the better sopranos commentators have already posted ages ago, without even adding any analysis or commentary of your own. why don't you try making a video about something you actually have something to say about?
yeah its really annoying, seems like most people don't even notice too which is a little concerning. These AI narrated chanels all blow ass and theyre making accounts in literally every part of youtube and pumping out chopped up videos that have already been made and put these annoying voices over them. I must have disliked and blocked like 100+ channels in the past year all doing this same bullshit, and its what Ill be doing after I finish this comment
For all I know the whole script of the video was just made with chatgpt too lol. I don't know why the guy running this channel picked Chills voice and inflection to narrate cause holy shit I really don't think its even possible for a voice to be more unbearable to listen to
How many times are you going to repeat yourself? You said everything there was to say in the first 4 minutes. This channel is going on the do not recommend list. 66K? I don't believe that's legit.
There is No "boss of all bosses", gtfoh
I always felt Carmine's death was a hit by poisoning. The look on Johnny Sacs face as he choked on the egg salad never sat right with me.
I’m sorry but Tony was a terrible boss lol
There’s no stigmata these days
