For anyone wondering how both Weber and Belmonte both got 185's and how you can do better than that, it's because they are 1). On a sports shot because it is professional bowling (a substantially harder lane condition) and 2). Bowling a good game really depends on how well you are able to string strikes together. If you bowled alternating 9/'s and strikes with 6 strikes, you would score a 200, but if you were to get 9/'s the first 6 frames and a 6-bagger the rest of them, you would get a 235, even with the same amount of strikes. Luck plays a part.

It's not about the score. All the score tells you is how well the players were attacking the lanes and/or the difficulty of the pattern. Three strikes to tie on a difficult lane condition is even more impressive.
That other bowler is Belmo, multiple time PBA tournament of champions winner. He now actually ties Peter Webber at 10 major titles. And I'm pretty sure they were on a team. It was a doubles tournament and Pete tied them with the other duo.
Belmo smashed Webers majors record and now he's going after The Goat's, WRW's winning titles of 47! I probably won't be around to see that happen----if it happens at all!
As Pete gets older, he might need Belmo to follow him around and remind him who he is.
