I see that every one of the greek church conversions was done shooting at the three pins. Every time I do, somebody tells me it's easier the other way. (roll eyes). I have to keep saying i've made it more that way than the other way.
I've made the 2-8-10 numerous times. And yes I'm a righty. One of my favorites though was this week picking up the 4-6. That ones always fun. Was soo close to getting the 7-10 this week. Would think I would have picked it up before cause I get one at least a night it seems. Have never picked that one or the Greek church. Was fun to watch those. I always shoot at the 3 on the church. Usually only leave one pin, normally the 7 falls to either side of the 4, but one of these days I'll get it. People tell me I gotta shoot at the 2 , but have never been even close on that side.
Made the 2-8-10 once Dick Allen style during practice with absolutely nobody around as the alley had opened 15 minutes ago or so. Nobody believes me to this day. Thank God I have a recording of my 7-10 though.
I’ve made the 6-7-10 once during practice in my league, a bunch of people including me were shocked. I’ve also seen someone also in my league almost make the 2-8-10.
I had no idea the greek church had been made on tv before! Thats awesome! I think the hardest split I picked up was the 4-6 (or what I call the mini 7-10). I was lucky enough to make it and win by 3 pins at a tournament!
I converted a 6-7-10 on Sunday, June 5, 2016. I’ve also converted a 5-8-10, but I forget which date. My brother converted a 7-10 split when he was seven years old.
Best split I converted was the 4-7-9-10. I threw it straight at the 4-7 & managed to get both pins to slide across & took the 9-10 out. It was also in the 9th frame against 2 tough opponents, me & my partner won the match.
Oh, by the way, there are hidden patterns of oil on in the lane that do not show up on T.V. all the time. Bowlers have to avoid these patterns as they make the ball slide in unpredictable ways. This adds a layer of complexity to an already tough shot.
I think my best would be i left a 7 4 10 and i hit the 7 and sent it directly into the 10 but left the 4 up, i call it my best pick up but i still left one. Before i started bowling fr i may have picked up a greek church i cant say forsure but im pretty confident thats what it was
Warning to everyone making split conversion videos: Putting the 4-6-7-10 (Double Pinochle) conversion by Walter Ray Williams Jr. will result in an automatic dislike from me. #MisterStickUpHisAss #PeteWeberForever #Hambone
@@nickneff6926 It can be done. I have often shot the 2-7 combo (as a one-handed lefty) with a backup ball right into the dry outside 10 on the right. It's hard to do but not impossible.

I always thought nobody ever converted the greek church on TV until today
Same
Usually everyone just shoots for the group of three and not to convert it
Didnt even think it was possible to make

Split conversions are amazing when the pros convert them
Did every spare in the game, except 2-8-10....never thought it was possible for a right handed bowler. Got proven so wrong watching this !
Never thought I'd be this hype over bowling, but a lot of those shots were slick as hell
I hope someone converts the 4-6-7-10 again on TV. The 7-10 30 year hiatus was insane
Lefties for the win on the 7-10s
3:07 lmaooooo, the dude already had Belmo burried but celebrated like it was the game winning shot. Love it.

How? Did he have throw it hard or slide it because 7 year old can't pick that up normally
I converted the 6-7-10 again on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
@@candycekadrlik9874 / He rolled two balls. ; )
Some of those splits i have converted
I made a 6-7-10 last night and was stoked. May never make it again!
The only thing better than a strike. A Near Impossible pick-up Spare.
And perfect game
Most of those today would not be converted since the back of the alley has been turned into a softer surface cutting down on pins bouncing around.
True, however with enough determination you can bounce a pin out of those once in a while
You can also use the side walls to get a kick
I was at Bayside Bowl for that Mika split
Nice!

Is it just me that thinks converting a split should be worth more points than a strike? This requires more skill or am I wrong?
I’m happy when my bowling ball stays out of the gutters, lol
. . . even when those "inner tubes" are in the gutters for children.
Sure, YT...I'll watch some bowling. Why not.
Most bowlers convert the 7-10 Split from left to right, but it can be converted from right to left, right handed or left handed!

I have back to back Greek Church conversions
Hail Mary !
Bowlers are amazing.
Not to rag on anyone’s skills but some of these are from extremely good luck to get some of that pin action is not easy.

Great 7-10 pickup
That's still a 7-10 conversion. Even if you missed the 4, it counts as a 7-10 conversion. That's actually more impressive!
How was Sean Lavery Spahr's 8-10 conversion not here? Lol
Its in my second split conversion video.
