both of them realizing at the same time at 1:58:00 that the B-ball Whistle is playing the Harlem Globetrotters theme just makes me smile every time. the pure joy
the funniest thing about this LP is going into the comment section of other LPs of Shut Up and Jam Gaiden where you will invariably find this comment or something resembling it; "thank you for doing a let's play of this game. the only other LP of this game i could find has 2 assholes talking over every event in the game and skipping through important text without even looking at it."
As a white guy from the UK, born in the 90s, this game doesn't mean ANYTHING to me. However, the concept of taking something simple and making an entire setting revolve around it and take it seriously is never not a good idea. Destroying city with the power of the *CHAOS DUNK* was the thing that made me watch this whole LP.
according to the devs, one of the lines from the song "Eternity" (which is used in the Vinceborg/Michael Jordan fight) sounds like the singer is saying "chicken dew" to them, and they thought that was funny, so they made one of the items a "chicken dew"
The funny thing is, even before Liam left Pat admitted (I think in one of his AMAs) that he and Liam weren't really friends and only really spoke for work purposes (he didn't hate him or anything they just didn't have a ton in common) which even in 2015 I was baffled by because of this LP and the chemistry in it.
I think it's probably like Mythbusters where they don't really like each other, but they have a great working relationship and bounce off each other really well when the camera (or mic I guess in this case) is on.
I mean, personally I'm not fan of liam but I feel like I could also have a fine working relationship with him. I knew a guy just like him at my first job. Some shit just doesn't work out, I'm just glad pats still out here giving us the clown house and THE BABY
This LP is just Comfort Food to me
Seeing the pickles showing up in the comments is comfort food to me

And that's why we love 'em!
That's why this is the best LP of this game even if I don't like liam

Why does this game unironically have more soul, better mechanics and writing than any JRPG ever
They care.
If it’s going there, every single Yakuza games is garbage then.
They just don't make games like they used to.

I will never ever understand pat's love for Drizzt. I think its just because Drizzt is the closest to an anime character?
Cursed LP considering how Pat and Liam's relationship went
Sshh...It's fiiiiine...
Couldnt you say that about most of SBFP lmao

I desperately want to rewatch this but i hate Liam with a passion.
...why?
Did Pat ever realize that he is just objectively wrong about Chrono Cross?
