I think it got derailed back in the day they talked about it being a Woolie x Pat playthrough (2014 I think it was) because Woolie doesn't play those kinds of games and definitely didn't back then (versus now where he's at least done the silent hill LP's) and there was some pushback from the community because RE was perceived to be a Matt x Pat LP. I remember that's when the talk of "Woolie being added (full time) is ruining the channel" from some of the more outspoken fans of the time for even it become discussed audibly. Which wasn't entirely fair even though I tended to agree with the logic of "keep your ass in the fight games, and out of the survival horror (when Matt and Pat's best LP''s came from it)" that's not what the idea was about. It was a joke idea of Woolies inability to commit at times or remember areas while dealing with tank controls, and seeing Pat tear his remaining hair out over Woolies playstyle. Honestly, they should've just did the one off on Shitstorm with Woolie behind the controls, but I think they dodged that again for the expectations it would cause (for example of this, they got death threats on social media/comment sections from putting up Beyond 2 Souls on Machinima for a short when the LP had not been announced yet). Then do the LP later. But of course that's a timeline we are denied... :(
1:17:05 - I remember when RE3 was suppose to have mutant horses that were twice the size of normal horses. I imagine if they had somehow survived past the concept art and were part of the game, they would be showing up in this area right about now.
1:07:35 - The Raccoon General Hospital, for some reason having all of their Hunters be replaced by not-RE0 Leeches in RE: Outbreak. Instead, having all their Hunters being placed in a University instead.
Wow Gravedigger is sooo not the reason RE3R was disappointing, honestly I didn't even remember that boss existed when playing. To me the main issues were: 1 - Nearly not enough Racoon city to explore 2 - Worst of all: Nemesis being very scripted and so less scary than Mr.X in RE2R. I don't know how they messed that up
You know, rewatching this i have to say. More games should do that continue thing after a game over. While silly and maybe emersion breaking, I like the line of the hero not giving up. More games should do that again.
58:50: oh jeez, Crazy talk somehow didn't kick in here, and gave us the best God of War there ever was. This whole game is weird, like its good, but its not *as* good as the one that came before it so people look poorly at it. Thats a massive problem for a lot of ongoing series, where one is so good that people begin to hate everything that comes after it simply because it doesnt live up to their rose-tinted expectations. I have a friend who hates Legend of Korra for that reason, and a lot of people had the same thought going from RE7 to RE8.
