I'd love to see a multiplayer stream of Aegon's conquest start where Spiff tries to launch the conquest while dealing with seven kingdoms players trying to survive. There's a few minor horses with unique legacies so we could even see some of the smaller houses become Lord Paramount instead of the established houses which would make things more interesting.
Giving up at the end of Season 2 is like going for diamonds in Minecraft and being content with Iron. huh? Season 7 was our biggest hint that Season 8 was going to be dire.

my game of thrones hot take is the show is in all ways worse than the books. every good part is when they just play it straight from the books, every bad part is any time they have an original character, plot point, or other deviation from the books. i watched 3 seasons and dropped it and i never looked back.
Seeing the Greyjoys so weak upsets me. I spent most of my time in CK2 playing Ironborn raiders or Dunmer mages. The changes to fleets makes the Ironborn so much less than they were.

My GoT hot take. Characters are never developed, their back stories are explored. The characters don't change (development) other than John Snow, but I don't count that as his "development" was dying and being returned to life as a completely different person.
Arya, Sansa, Jamie, Sandor, Tyrion, Jon, Samwell, Bran, Theon, Danerys, Grey Worm, even Ser Barristan and freakin Khal Drogo and more all grow and change throughout the story pretty sure you've never read or watched GoT
