I remember visiting a Jeep dealer with my Dad in the early 1970s. The CJs only came with the driver’s seat standard, everything else was extra. He didn’t buy one :-(
Screw people who don't like the name on the screen, they're probably looking to steal your stuff. Doesn't bother me a bit I love your stuff, for me it's a happy trip down memory lane, thank you.
you know, after a while, your brain process it so that you don't even notice it......and some of my videos, it's only on the screen for a fraction of the film......people need to get a grip and your right, it's the people that want to steal it and re-upload it that complain the most....they want the fruits of my labor for free.
When I watch promo films like this, I imagine who is watching it and them thinking, "Shoot! I should've just waited a year, this seems so much better than my '72!!"
Quadra-Trac "Improved fuel economy". My old 360 & Quadra-trac J-truck would like to disagree I traded it for a (78) 258 L6 with locking hubs, it gets almost 2X better fuel mileage even with bigger axles and tyres
They used the Buick V6 that was designed in the 1960's.......and then in the mid 70's reused by Buick and GM again. But I don't believe Jeep ever offered a Buick V8,
okay.....now that's a bold statement, "....the new one's are junk...." How did you determine this? What was the criteria? Who were the judges? It''s only been introduced? How do you know it's Junk? I get so fed up with people with no clue about what they are speaking about calling a car or vehicle "junk" I normally delete them in my daily process of deleting claims of any type of vehicle being "junk" but this is so ridiculous a comment based on nonsense....I'm leaving it up for folks to see how dumb comments can be here on youtube.
@@OsbornTramain I wouldn’t own anything newer than when they stopped putting the 4.0L I6 in them the new ones don’t have too much weight and not enough power and the motors are higher compression and don’t have a strong bottom end so the moment you put a turbo on it you blow it up and there’s no building the motors you have to hemi or ls swap it if you want something decent for off-roading but I guess if you just need a mall crawler you should be ok but the front ends on them aren’t worth a shit because they’re too light duty
Every one of these voiceover guys sound like they’ve been 2 pack-a-day unfiltered cigarette smokers for at least 20 years before any of these voiceovers were recorded. You can almost hear the lung cancer in their voices.... 😕
Cigarettes were healthy in those days not to mention that smoking made you cool and assisted in romantic encounters. Corporate heads and our gov have always been honest and concerned for the publics physical and eternal well-being!! :(

Wagoneer was the BEST hunting vehicle ever. It made for a very handsome suburban family saloon as well.
I have a 1974, I love it !!
Funny to see a Jeep CJ with wheel covers. Things were "Gentlemanly" back then
I want copies of all of the 1970's production music used in these Jeep auto promos.
ALL OF THE 1970's PRODUCTION MUSIC.
Groooooovy...

Man I'd love to have a '70-'87 J-10 Pickup Truck with a 360 V8 or the 401 V8 option! The J-10 is the best looking Jeep Truck ever!
The Wagoneer is really nice
I havent seen a Commando in years , In fact i had forgot all about that model.
17:29 I can almost hear that poor truck saying "dammit, do I have to do this my whole life?!"

Jackson Beck!?! I fully expected The Man of Steel himself to appear at the end of the film and endorse the Jeep Wagoneer. Great film!
