I had that EXACT 1979 Golden Eagle Cherokee, except mine was a FULL-TIME All wheel drive Quadratrac with a 360 engine. I got about 12 miles to the gallon! LOL! It was an UNSTOPPABLE BEAST!!
Looking up production records by serial number, the older Jeep wagons ended their production run in November 1964 so some might be considered 1965 models (assuming the new model year starting in August). But indeed leftover '63/64 stock continued at dealers in 1965.
I have a '83 Brougham I purchased 4 years ago have installed a 401 , I have power locks , AC, and Cruise same color exterior with the Nutmeg bucket seats
love the line up man, thats really cool.. did you really spit all over the flat head on that first jeep lol ?? im doubting the wood paneling on the Grand Wagoneer is original though like you say
Holy cow! Doesn't your fuel gauge in the Willys Wagon work either? I had a '60 for years and it was ALWAYS inaccurate. My '59 just plain isn't working. And you are either outta gas or... LOL! Much love from Provo! 👍😊
Thanks a lot . Each of them holds its own charm . The first one is still functional in some parts of the world 🌍

The blue jeep looks like a Mitsubishi Jeep!
Loving that Cherokee! Now I want one with a good 360!

The Wagoneer design was very very very advanced from 1963!!!!
Great! The Jeep Station Wagon and the Jeep Wagoneer were produced togheter in 1963 and 1964

You should do a ZJ, WJ, WK and WK2 comparison ! Which is a continuation of these 4 Jeeps
The Jeep Station Wagon was named “Rural Willys” in Brazil, where was produced from 1958 to 1977. In 1960 the front design changed in Brazil

Thanks, and you can doubt all you want, but it is original. :) If you saw it in person, you would agree.
Love your Channel And your jeeps. Do you have a Cherokee chief with 6 cylinder engine?
Thank you for watching! I don't. All my FSJ's are V8s.
I own a 1983 wagoner 258 6 cylinder automatic,with factory warn lock out hubs
Thanks for giving the years on the first one... come on man
What are your thoughts on 90s Cherokee. I have a 99. In Joyed the video those are the real thing.
I've had many XJ's. They are great Jeeps for their intended purpose. If you take good care of them, they will go for a long time.

lol It's actually the only gauge that doesn't work. We just put a few gallons in every time we take it somewhere.
XJ???
