Now I have heard more about the NBA all-star weekend women trying to get pregnant by NBA All Stars as way to get setup for life with child support payments. This is just a click bait video of NFL athletes' mis management of their own funds. The average NFL player lasts about 3 years in the league guys that make it to the 2nd contract really get the big payday and like Jerry Mcquire the sports agent gets a big chunk of that as well and what state you live in for the taxes.

I live in central NJ and one of my friends managed a TGIF restaurant in Eatontown. Darrel Dawkins, who played mostly for the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers back in the 1980's would drop in, go to the bar, be friendly and sociable, sign a few autographs and have a couple of drinks. When he left he would he leave $100 tip for the bartender. This was long after he retired. Apparently he managed his money well or just knew how a professional athlete should travel. Darrel was a monster of man and one the first to shatter glass backboards in the NBA. The main reason the design of the hoop was changed to give way and snap back into place after a particularly violent dunk shot. Great guy.
