Great band, like a good wine, getting better by the year...................confess I lost them in the 90s and 00s but wow now..............and what I missed has been worth catching up on!!!😍
A criminally under rated band. I still listen to them 40+ years later. First heard them on The John Peel Show.
Fantastic documentary, it deserves far more views. Mad me feel a little bid emotional, loved the band for 40 years, own practically everything they've ever produced. The Big E (or Won't Stop Loving You) was one of Andy Weatherall's favourite songs, and he along with some other friends who were ACR fans are no longer around to see it.
Onwards and upwards, new LP out in March, long live the one Manchester band who came through after punk to still be making music as pretty much the same group, minus those who have left of their own volition.
Ever since I was 14 I used to run home Tuesday night and Thursday night after school forgot my homework beatbox on the ready TDK...MAXWELL cassettes on the ready for John Peel and I heard ACR for the first time and it changed my life. Thank you, ACR, and thanks to the late great John Peel.
What a lovely collection of guys they are. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to their recollections and the documentary has certainly made me warm to ACR even more. I will be ordering the new album 1982! Thank you for posting.
Love ACR. Such a great back catalogue.
fab documentary..remember seeing them at the hacienda 91/92 midweek and they were ace back then.
Great doc thank you. All of them open to so many diff influences. All of them equal band members. Made for such a unique and interesting band. They weren't scared of rhythm and making people want to move either which to me was the coolest thing about them.
Great stuff! Looking forward to 1982. Great to hear the story from the band themselves 8)
Fantastic Band !!! i love them
Brilliant film been a fan since the beginning really enjoyed the watch, THANKS. 🎶👍
Great documentary of a great band.
Ratios gig in Paris last night - they still got it. Excellent stuff
🙏Merci beaucoup🙏
ACR is a really great band and Sextet was (and still is) a fabulous collection of songs. But search for “Who’s to say” and “Saturn” and you’ll hear their sound is just amazing…
Exquisite
Wonderful music. They should do more latin - it really suits them
très bon documentaire , bravo !!!
Saw them in LA so good
Great story told well, here’s to another forty years 😊
Loved Pips, I still have my membership card :)

My friends Dad took me and my friend Georgia there to Band on the wall. when we were 13 to see Snake Davis. And his blues band . Anyway nevermind about that i talk too much sometimes 🙄
( got loads more to tell you later

they should have put more archive footage, right. maybe there was not that much available? informative tho.
Great tickets...To say the least
