2:08 in that part of the song we see the faces of some of the villains in the fleetway comics. My headcanon is that in that part super is telling sonic that without him he would never defeat them
It’s kind of ironic when you think about it. Despite Super being chaotic and unstable, he’s technically done more good than harm. Without his Super form, this version of Sonic would’ve never met Tails and save him from drowning.

In that one, Sonic has to suppress this pure chaos energy in order to prevent the destruction of the world, but one day, he falls into a pit, which had enough chaos energy to turn Sonic, Super, but since he wasn't focused and didn't expect this, Fleetway emerged from the pit instead of Sonic. TL;DR: The origin of the Evil Sonic trend (if you exclude Extra Life who, iirc, came first)

A cool detail I noticed in the first half is that, when it's Sonic's turn, his left hand is like Fleetway's and vice versa.
