Our local library has everything you need to digitize VHS tapes. If you have other cam-corder tapes and your cam-corder still works, you can connect it with composite video to their computer and digitize the tapes. On another note, the library also has two 3-D printers as well as a 3-D scanner which you can use. They have personnel there to convert file formats and setup the printers. Awesome!
Why is there always one thumbs down? Sometimes I see three or four but there is always one. Why? Is Leo grumpy? Did you piss someone off or is it you, Patrick? I could see you doing that as a test like thing or something. Not sure why I thought you might. I have been watching as long as, I think everyone else that comments here, since the techTV days. Was channel 132 here. I still check it sometimes. No 132 anymore. I'm happy you are still here, sharing with us :)
A shame about that 2.4ghz-only light. Nothing that uses that type of radio works with my Netgear Orbi wireless system without crippling the features that make it easy to use.
I think all of Alex's CNC router experiments, and the fact that they seem to be building a complete actual workshop with mills and lathes (according to TechJesus's video), is part of that plan.

I have the smaller Neewar lights and they are fine, but their batteries only last an hour. And they don't throw light that far.
is there any nice 1080 60fps webcam?
Do you think that the el-gato lights are better than the Aputure Amaran AL-528W LED Light?
I guess the computer control would be useful for a streaming setup which is what it's designed for.
