I just saw your video. I don't know how long you've been on the road. I live in Dodge van & have been on the road for 4yrs. I've been to Quartzsite 4 seasons Flagstaff 4 seasons originally from Houston. I have never had a "tribe" but have friends. I travel to destinations alone. You will meet lots of people & not everyone will be your friend. Eventually you will gain confidence, strength and time will pass sooner than you realize. I was so scared of the unknown but having major van repairs $$$ alone has forced me to be strong. Give yourself credit. You are a very generous & giving person & you will meet very nice people on your travels. The right travel buddies will come across your path. I wish you and safe travels. See you down the road 🥀

I could only stand being around those types of loosely assembled groups for a few days before I would just Have to go to be by myself. I cannot stand people talking about others like that. But gossipers don't stop their crap out on BLM areas where nature takes precedence. Negative people are attracted to like kind I smile way too much for them to like me after a few minutes. One constant in this world is that evil attacks good. This understanding explains a lot of stuff, even if it is blindingly superficial. I realize such cave man thinking is not applicable to improving a lot of situations, but it is a simple way to resolve the upset disappointing behavior in others can cause, and allow one to move on. it gives the brain a way to categorize the threat as everyday normal, and once that happens, both the conscious and unconscious mind can move on. some people have strange motivations they are unable to shake, for whatever reason, but sometimes simplifying things to cut the stress is better than revisiting a bad situation .

You seem to be a very nice person with very good intentions who is drawn to very toxic people & then gets drawn into their abusive cycle & ends up being treated in ways you don’t understand & feel victimized. Often the type people we become involved with is influenced by our childhood. Only you can break your cycle. Abusive people not only usually don’t change they also don’t take responsibility for their behavior & blame others for why they behaved the way they did in any given situation. You can often exit situations gracefully & then stay away & do as you did & resign. Always try not to reduce yourself to their level like ranting back. They will only use your behavior against you & they have been at their game a long time. As well , and this is shared with good intentions, don’t try to appease & please those who abuse you hoping they will like you & treat you nicer ... they won’t & it’s not your fault. For example, in your story the 3 days of cushion making changed nothing. The woman is who she is, You were wise to leave & I would encourage you to tell Human Resources he was the only reason you left & you have resigned to protect yourself from further abuse & would rather not discuss it further beyond the complaint you filed but would like to be considered for other camp host jobs. You have many wonderful qualities... don’t invest them where there is no return. There is a big difference between running away & choosing to end a bad situation & moving on with a plan to better things. You CAN do it. You go girl! 🥀👍

Okay. I'm not a hater, but I really have to ask why are you posting videos of this kind of drama? Is this really what you want for your channel? Seems like you made an accidental judgment call and trusted someone and they are scum or crazy, probably both. But why let them trigger you and ruminate on it and make videos about it? I saw your Bob Wells interview and so I subscribed and started from the beginning hoping honestly for better content than this emotional, childish drama. Is this what you wanted when you traded your home life for van life? I just think If you make mistakes, move past them and don't record yourself crying and complaining to your audience about it. Do you think we all want to watch that? I don't mean to be harsh, but I wanted to provide feedback. I will watch a few later videos in the hopes that you finally settle in and provide some valuable content. Otherwise, this is not the channel for me. I think its great Phyllis shared this. For me, I'd do the same. I wouldn't have to keep it bottled up eating on me, AND to those she abruptly left at the van-thing, it gives them a explanation if they ever come across these videos. i saw part 1 of this video and I'm sorry but it sounded to me like she was trying to introduce you to people that would vibe with you and talk about the same things as being alone or lonely That's the 2nd video I've seen you crying and well kinda throwing a tantrum over nothing. You seem to be a very nice person with very good intentions who is drawn to very toxic people & then gets drawn into their abusive cycle & ends up being treated in ways you don’t understand & feel victimized. Often the type people we become involved with is influenced by our childhood. Only you can break your cycle. Abusive people not only usually don’t change they also don’t take responsibility for their behavior & blame others for why they behaved the way they did in any given situation. You can often exit situations gracefully & then stay away & do as you did & resign. Always try not to reduce yourself to their level like ranting back. They will only use your behavior against you & they have been at their game a long time. As well , and this is shared with good intentions, don’t try to appease & please those who abuse you hoping they will like you & treat you nicer ... they won’t & it’s not your fault. For example, in your story the 3 days of cushion making changed nothing. The woman is who she is, You were wise to leave & I would encourage you to tell Human Resources he was the only reason you left & you have resigned to protect yourself from further abuse & would rather not discuss it further beyond the complaint you filed but would like to be considered for other camp host jobs. You have many wonderful qualities... don’t invest them where there is no return.
There is a big difference between running away & choosing to end a bad situation & moving on with a plan to better things. You CAN do it. You go girl! 🥀👍

Okay. I'm not a hater, but I really have to ask why are you posting videos of this kind of drama? Is this really what you want for your channel? Seems like you made an accidental judgment call and trusted someone and they are scum or crazy, probably both. But why let them trigger you and ruminate on it and make videos about it? I saw your Bob Wells interview and so I subscribed and started from the beginning hoping honestly for better content than this emotional, childish drama. Is this what you wanted when you traded your home life for van life? I just think If you make mistakes, move past them and don't record yourself crying and complaining to your audience about it. Do you think we all want to watch that? I don't mean to be harsh, but I wanted to provide feedback. I will watch a few later videos in the hopes that you finally settle in and provide some valuable content. Otherwise, this is not the channel for me. I want to learn about the lifestyle and be inspired.
There are lots of channels that just show the pretty side of being a nomad. I chose to show the good and bad, but I get not everyone wants that.
I think its great Phyllis shared this. For me, I'd do the same. I wouldn't have to keep it bottled up eating on me, AND to those she abruptly left at the van-thing, it gives them a explanation if they ever come across these videos. Linda probably pulled crazy stuff like this to those people and surely they noticed already with their own interactions.

That's the 2nd video I've seen you crying and well kinda throwing a tantrum over nothing. I sure hope you find your tribe and stop being so sensitive about things or no one will want to be around you. There are plenty of loners out there, plenty of tribes, and plenty of in betweens.
