I enjoy the property maintenance videos - probably because misery loves company. We are not far from you guys on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi, and have a 30+ acre property. Property maintenance is a full day per week of smoothing, killing, sawing, cutting, whacking, and fixing. Country living is definitely not for everyone, but I wouldn't trade it for anything 😊

Cole, The Farm is looking great and should payoff with less hassles and more productivity this year even with the ongoing Grain Bin Fiasco. I hope your Lawyers are working as hard as you all do to get the resolution and repairs needed soon. Your extra time on explaining the chemistry aspects of your operation are awesome. I never thought I would ever know about these things, Yet I find myself enjoying and learning more with each video. As always Thank You for bringing us along on your Journeys. With so many RUclips Farmers these days I still can't wait for each new adventure you take us on. Tell Nave that Edward is a natural and will be helping Daddy very soon and I for one can't wait to see it.

When you cut the tree, paint the top of the stump with a mixture of diesel and and Crossbow, but it has to be done quickly after cutting it down. That is what we use to do when we cut down hedge trees to keep them from growing back when I was a kid.

My 69 year old, never been on a farm, female friend loves these videos where the younger generation is working smarter and not harder. I love them too but its neat how much she appreciates when you do the science and run the numbers be it yields or farm budgets. Her generation and those prior already hit the limit of working harder regardless of industry.

So think you covered most of the STEM courses in this video. Great job taking book learning to practical implementation. I have always been impressed by farmers. Haven't figured out how farmers make any profit yet, still looking there. Anyway, farmers seem to know how to fix everything and get very little to no credit for it. Also the help out your neighbor mentality is awesome. Wish more to the world worked that way.

Knowing farmers can fix anything when a farmer brought a set of running boards into my work to be installed I tried to find a different project. We’ll I finished that one too and still ended up with the running boards. Fords studs in the rocker were spinning. I knew there was a reason he brought the boards in to be installed. 20 min job became a 2 hour job.

It rots the tree stump to the point it dissolves into the ground… gone … takes a few short months but it better for the ground… thanks for the great videos. Ashling from Ireland.

Geotextile membrane under your rock will help massively with stabilising the rock and reduce weeds. Otherwise you’ll loose a lot of rock to mud which is going to float up through your rock. You should invest in a roller to compact your rock too.
