Please, I know how it feels to be passionate about a show, but shows change. Things get done differently. It’s ok, and these actors are doing a fine job! Wonderful job in fact.
@@unorthodox4376 I know it's not the actors' choice, I've seen this production with other casts, they have strict instructions from the director and every actor cycled through the role is doing the exact same things at the same times
@@nathaniellee5277 I don't want the same, please put a new spin, interpretation, or delivery on parts, but just know how far and how long to exaggerate your acting. I wouldn't mind it so much if they pulled it back just slightly, or used it more scarcely, I think it'd be more effective then. One thing I do like that some people have actually criticised is how the cast keeps rotating. I actually don't mind that, I think it keeps the show fresh and lets new actors share their nuances
Does anyone else hate how the main characters sing? Like they all sing with less soul and vibrancy of the original? They're all using a very interesting nasally "stage* voice and it's annoying AF.
Even as a kid I found this song heartbreaking and relatable.
Same. I was very young when the film came out and always liked this song.
This was my anthem for my last job.
Same
Haha totally! I was 5 and I kinda got it
Love the melody change on the last two lines. It gives this great showstopper number just what it needed. Bravo.
I think of how people all around are stuck in their own personal skid row. If you’re reading this, I hope you find a way out!
Wow they are a great Seymour and Audrey!
Chills! The power! So good!🥲♥️
My favorite song 🌱💖
Please say we’re getting a Rob/Lena/Brad/Bryce pro shot!!!!!
Do this with Matt Doyle!!
Can y'all put the actors names in the description or something idk who tf these people are 😭
Rob McClure as Seymour

Lena hall as Audrey
@@NolanThackray thank you 🙏
@@NolanThackray The Urchins: Tiffany Renee Thompson as Crystal, Melissa Victor as Ronnette and Khadija Sankoh as Chiffon
Hm... I wonder how a tour based on this production would work out, especially since it would likely play larger venues...
I am fully convinced we are getting a proshot of this cuz they’re releasing a lot of good quality videos of the songs
@@emmaoliviasworld7951 These we’re filmed for press circulation. They likely didn’t film the entire show when this was done.

Why give Seymour a Jerry Lewis voice when Ashman's libretto says not to make him a Jerry Lewis type character? Or into a caricature
That's just how Rob McClure sings. It's unintentional. He's an excellent singer and I think he fits the role just fine.

@@seymourkrelborn4780 Well … do you want each cast to act the exact same way? I can see the appeal, but doing that doesn’t exactly keep things fresh
