Does anyone else hate how the main characters sing? Like they all sing with less soul and vibrancy of the original? They're all using a very interesting nasally "stage* voice and it's annoying AF.

Joy Woods sounds lovely, but this could be any role. She could even break in to singing Hopelessly Devoted To You from Grease. She lacks the character, sadness and fragility of Audrey.

Her last "suddenly Seymore" at 3:00 is unreal... She takes the "Sey" down mid-syllable, then pulls "more" up mid-syllable perfectly and I had to listen to it at .25x like 20 times to understand what she was doing and how. Stunning.

Nobody can ever embody this character the way Ellen Greene did.

Best rendition of this song I've ever heard! Her ability to capture so many different emotions and bring us on an emotional journey is really special! Her voice is absolutely incredible, but her emotional range and depth set her apart from many of her counterparts!

Ok, this was perfect.

Don't like her at all. Average voice, and she has none of the innocence, frailty, kindness or gentleness of Audrey. She barely looked at Seymour, and never with wonder or love like this scene in the movie. Subpar acting.

Holy crap. I'd never seen her Audrey until a few minutes ago, and I'm already convinced it's the best I've ever seen, bar none. She's amazing!

One of the best if not THE best version I've ever seen. That song is heartbreaking when it is done well, but it needs to be so full of hope--while knowing it will never happen and you're life will never be one you're hoping for. People always just play her dumb and sexy. This girl played her sweet and trusting and tragic, which was SPOT ON.

I hated everything about this. This is my favorite musical since I was 8 and since I married a Seymour, this is our song. I have heard sooooo many renditions of this song and this is by far the worst I have ever heard. Both of them are terrible singers and that dumb thing with her lip, that’s not tough, it’s stupid looking.
