This is not live ...she retired officially from the big stage 1983 ....from 1974 she started having problems with her voice and slowly become a voice impairment although she still sporadically sang at the big stage....

This is just a 1985 video of her lip syncing to a recording of hers from 20 years. Her voice was long gone by 1985.

I haven't heard any other soprano take that top E at the the end. They all opt for the lower note.

Stunning and adorable! From a time when we still had a number of wonderful programs and shows in German TV... Tempi passati... they are gone, just like the great artists they featured... 🌹🌹🌹

I adored Moffo, but this is obviously lip-synched. In 1985, she would not have attempted a high-E before the public.
