NEW YORK CLASSICAL PLAYERS
Founded in 2010, New York Classical Players (NYCP) is an ensemble dedicated to the highest standards of artistry, collaboration, and virtuosity. Fueled by the belief that access to musical excellence is an essential human right, NYCP presents all of its concerts free of charge. NYCP is comprised of dynamic young musicians who are launching their professional careers. Graduates of some of the world’s leading conservatories come together as NYCP to share free performances of familiar masterpieces, bold new commissions, and unexpected musical treasures with the public. Each season, thousands of NYCP concertgoers experience both the dynamic power of the orchestral repertoire and the versatile intimacy of chamber performance - without charge. The hardest conductor to ever play with, good thing easy music
This piece is definitely designed for intermediate-advanced types students and professionals, because of the simplistic rhythm and exchange between melodic solis. Personally, for me, I performed this at least twice in my life time in middle and high school(which benefited me performing the Violin 1 and 2 part).
The concert master couldn’t help but grin at the end 😋

Can understand why this piece is not played that often. I'm in a mandolin orchestra and we have been given this to play. Look forward to the last note.
Foi a primeira peça orquestral que toquei, lembro-me de estar super perdido (eu tocava violino fazia apenas 5 meses) n sabia mt bem ler partituras msm tendo conseguido passar no processo seletivo.
Tengo que tocar esto para 3 semanas

Nilbebe, that's awesome, this isn't my favorite peice by Holst, but it's okay.
dylan crow I was in second violin but now switched to 1st violin. And later going to challenge concertmaster

My orchestra still can't seem to figure out the 3rd movement, but its an okay peice.
Same the third moment is super hard, I can only barely get through it
