Mac Tonight The Ronald Show Ollie Oak
I think Mac Tonight would have made a great cabaret character for Pizza Time Theater back in the day.
Ollie the Hamburger Tree is from the McDonald's that was located next to the old McDonald's corporate office in Oakbrook Illinois. This is one of my favorite things from when I was a kid and there is a video of some teens you can find online that shows when some of the burgers still moved. Ollie's mouth used to move to the lyrics that he sang (and his eyes went back and forth if I'm not mistaken) and the burgers were very smooth back when I was a kid in the 90's. I wish they would have fixed him up and kept him around for the younger generations. 30ish years later and I still very fondly remember our singing hamburger tree 💜

While I have never been to a McD's that would have had anything like that, when I was really little a local McD's that no longer exists had this place in the back for birthday parties. Didn't have much other than a large slide and a very small carousel (think something slightly bigger than one of those ones you'd find in a shopping center) with those cartoon burgers on it. There were all these murals with the McDonaldland characters. I do remember a lot of these McD's with their mascots on the walls somewhere, but the ones that still exist all got rid of them for that generic cafe look they all seem to have now. Not even those weird swivel chairs that were attached to tables that sometimes had the characters printed on them. The best decorations they even have now are Happy Meal promotional posters. Everything now looks so bland and brown and depressing.
That sounded beyond cool. Would've been amazing if they could've taken photos of the interior. The "Nonstandard McDonald's" Twitter keeps record of unusual and straight-up bizarre locations (including ones that were shut down/remodeled) and I find it most fascinating.
And agreed completely on the "bland and brown and depressing" bit. They're trying to appeal only to the adults who hate everything "childish", rather than entire families, presumably due to the brand wanting their image changed and for kids to not taint it. Their McCafé menu also reflects in this in order to repel said kids since they all despise coffee. But the damage has already been done. No matter "how healthy" or "how ethical" they try to push their branding as, they'll always be associated with children of the present and future....
The one in Orlando with Mac had all the mcdonald's characters animitronics downstairs. Around 2005 they removed them an only put Mac back upstairs

There was also a talking McDonald that was in a large picture frame with plexiglass to protect him. It was a large plastic 3D relief map like picture of Ronald holding a burger and fries. Only his mouth moved like a ventriloquist dummy upon a push of a white button on the bottom of the frame. It only worked for a few years then removed. It was located in Del Mar, California near the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
I actually have a very faint memory from back when I was... 6 maybe? of visiting a McDonald's somewhere in FL that had animatronics in one of the dinning areas. Glad to know that was an actual thing they did (however briefly) and not just my brain making up weird bull.

I remember going to some fast food restaurant in the early 2000s that had a children's area with some sort of talking tree the kids could interact with. I was young enough to remember this, but not really anything else about it because this was definitely around the age where my memory first started working. It probably was not Ollie the Oak, but I thought I would share that anyway.

I remember hearing about a mcdonalds somewhere that has a chuck e cheese animatronic that was re-outfitted into Ronald mcdonald. I have no idea if its true or not but thought i should share it anyways

While this is not exacly a stationary animatronic it maby still interests some people.
Around 2010 ? one of my parrents took a buisness trip to the US and brought back a singing Animatronic Fish from MC´donalds that was ment to advertise Fish burgers they started making.
The name was Franky
These things seemed to be only available in the US and i never saw one besides the one i own.
I also have no clue how popular these where in the US. (would be interesting if anyone knows more or maby even has one )
I remember going to a location in Westminster CO that had one of the McDonalds figures with the Drink, Cheeseburger and Fries. Yes it was creepy.
I seen a you tube video and he was talking about that one in Colorado and that they took it down.

My McDonald’s had an animatronic show but I literally can’t remember anything about it 😩. I’m pretty sure there McDonald was one do the characters. But not that creepy one like you mentioned. I’m almost positive he was more statue like with a hard face 🤷🏽♀️
