Over 50 and trying to learn to shuffle. I never thought to hold on to something for the running and it made such a difference. I kept losing my balance. Thank you for showing we can do it over 50 and easier ways to learn. :)

It also helps keep our knees safe to as we do things over and over to get it right. :)

For those of you attempting to get the "Running Man" right, at any age ... try practicing daily ... the brain needs time to adjust to something new. Get going!

I’m just glad to know I’m not the only 50+ gray haired old lady that wants to shuffle dance!!!😂
    Thank you!

I appreciate this so much! Challenging yourself and learning new things at any age is so important. Using the counter for balance? What a great suggestion! It feels refreshing to watch you demonstrate these moves with your own style and technique and not trying to follow along some super fit 20-pack abs advanced shuffle dancer online.

I'm learning to shuffle dance by watching the Dandan dancers---China---because they teach it in a way that makes it so easy to do, it's nearly impossible to mess up. I'm 70, having to work carefully at everything due to a debillitating injury a few years ago, and having some mobility challenges. The Chinese form of shuffle dance really, really helps enormously.

I agree. I need to learn steps more slowly and Dandan shuffle has helped.

I've decided to learn Shuffle as a way to inject fun cardio into my routine rather than jumping rope or putting more miles on the treadmill. It will be good to laugh (at myself) and get some steps in at the same time. I bet it will make me even lighter on my feet. This is the first place I stopped when the idea struck after sitting down for a late afternoon break while soldering pipes for the new water heater I'm installing in the basement. Will be using Eiffel 65's "Blue" as the soundtrack and will set the goal of hitting every other beat while I figure everything out. Thank you for posting and demonstrating!

You are so lovely! I'm not 50,.. yet lol however I have fallen in love with shuffling and want to learn to dance. This is super awesome and inspiring to see. I love it. Funny enough, I ignited the passion for shuffling when I saw a video as I had an ankle injury at the time :') so I couldn't even practice until I had watched several videos of folks shuffling. Thank you for the tips and tricks I'm going to actually use the counter now! I had the inclination to do so, but let my self talk get in the way - no more! Thanks for giving me that courage :)

I tried to learn it back in the late 80's and couldn't get it, or the roger rabbit which is actually a reverse running man. It involves skipping and a move that's almost like a low jumping jack to the front. I definitely want to do a breakdown video, because now i can do them. Thanks for posting!

Great job !! I’m 62 and love this dance. Three things I still want to achieve in life: lean Surfing, learn Suffle-dance, and… the impossible one, to learn how to speak like Donald Duck lol (joke). People will ask: why you don’t learn a language instead??? Well I am already polyglot (English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian and French) só I’m ok with that. What about an instrument?? I play guitar (well) bass and piano pretty ok! I just want to have fun now! Thank you for your wonderful energy!

These are Skechers: SN12538TX. They're just right! Here's my Amazon Associates link: amzn.to/3Ge5zof Tip: look at the sole on Amazon, and then you can look for a style you like with the same sole.
