@Lord Manhammer I actually survived (character did not die) one of Deathwing's attacks. Was in the Burning Steppes. Took the flight path out to Stormwind. Just as I got on, Deathwing showed up. Added more fire to the zone. However, I had not left the zone then. I "died" while in flight and dinged the achievement. Landed in Stormwind safe and sound.
The first time you see deathwing descend upon Stormwind like that was just mind blowing. You have to think at the time right now like how was you supposed to defeat that

I made so much gold in this expansion, it was ridiculous. I skipped questing right away and went herbing then i was able to herb in twilight highlands with ease on my flying mount... this was also when herbs/ores were spawning like mad (before they toned it down) I must of got at least half of the GUILD'S herb picking achievement by myself.... and with those herbs selling at first week expansion value.... oh boy, never would i make so much gold in a short time again... even other expansion beginning like mist of pandaria, i made a mint the first few days but nothing will be like cata with the ever spawning herbs and flying from the beginning of the expansion.
It depends on people, I loved cata think it was an amazing expansion and didn't fail at all, but for example i hated wod and I can see people saying how it was cool so that is just the opinion based on how much it had impact on you, I saw people complaining about classic wotlk pretty much everything, they are doing it for shadowlands and will do for new expansion and they will for as long as wow will live

It wasn't. Cataclysm did a lot of things right that Wrath ruined. Cata had the most difficult PvE to date before Wrath cradled children demanded nerfs.
Cataclysm was an awesome expansion. Never had the game seen such quantity and quality at the same time of PvE. Two completely legendary tiers, and dragon soul was still better than many people claim - its just that T11 and T12 were so freaking good. LFR introduction was the only controversial thing, but now that normal modes in 9.2 are pretty hard already for average players - LFR feels like you have to actually do something to fight the boss instead of just trying to not fall behind while 40 players run to the end of the instance.

You did not want to be anywhere near Badlands in this expansion. Seemed like every time I went off in there Deathwing ate me.

Nathan Seabrands - i loved this expac. Death Wing is heavily underrated. He's been the strongest Villian we have been fighting thus far.
