Having replaceable thumb sticks has given me a peace of mind. I’ve bought similar pro controllers (two to be exact) and have had drift. This ensures better longevity.
Completely agree - since stick drift *will* happen at some point with these kinds of sticks, the occasional $20 is MUCH better than having a sucky $170+ controller that you cannot replace sticks on. AFAIK, only Evil custom controllers have replaceable stick modules.
Best purchase I’ve made this year honestly. It feels great, the case is great for all the reasons you mentioned. And the replacement stick configuration when the time comes is just a steal. Customizing the dead zone of the sticks and responsiveness of the triggers with its adjusting how far it goes is killer as well. Always feels like I have an absurd advantage in gun fights in COD.. makes me look like I’ve got aim bot and see through walls for how fast I react to enemy’s turning corners
I could have gotten this as the second controller but it came late. I recently started playing warzone and I just feel the back paddle to jump or prone while shooting
One of the best purchases I’ve made for $200, yeah battery is not great but quality of the controller makes up for that. Plus the fact that you can switch between profiles is amazing. And the charging cable is long af so even when you need to charge it you can still play. The case that it comes in is a bonus as well.
@@Bambodinhoif your buying a controller like this I’d assume you also have a monitor. Pretty easy to charge and play. If you don’t have a monitor your decision to spend on a controller at this price is a is a 0 out of 10
I brought it a week after release and for 1st edition there is nothing wrong with it it's 100% worth buying and the main reasons for buying it is customizable buttons to fit ur play style. Make 2 button motions 1 button. Faster triggers for yall shooters and lastly stick drift becomes a thing of the past. You can't beat it when the only thing u have to replace is the stick not the controller. P.s that battery issue ppl complaining about connecting it to a wire is a personal thing. I am always 3 to 4 ft from the TV and it doesn't bother me one bit
The controller is really nice and all but I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a controller. I can buy three controllers for the price of one of these. The biggest aspect of it for me personally is being able to change you sticks. Because unfortunately stick drift is a problem with these controllers although I've had my two original since day one release and one has very bad stick drift and is unplayable. The second is starting to go that way. I have broke out my God of War limited edition controller and am considering between two more controllers or an elite. I like to have two so I can throw the one on the charger and always have a Charged wireless controller and for multiplayer when I need it. But obviously I'm not going to purchase two Edge controllers. I don't know I'm torn between them. Especially because I don't do first person games so all of the advantages people get from adjusting the controller I'll never use. I'm not a competitive gamer. So trying to talk myself into spending over $200 on a controller is tough when I can buy several for the same price
@@RobK-rl6sn I’m also not a competitive player and mostly play single player games but for me it’s an investment till they come up with a solution for stick drift, plus the quality of the controller is good and the extra buttons are helpful and it’s very easy to map them. If you have the money I recommend buying one and don’t worry about charging it comes with a lengthy cable
@@RobK-rl6sni have had 2 dualsense that both has started to get stick drift considering dropping the 200 bucks so I can get rid off this, it ruins the gaming experience even if it’s a single player game
I love mine. Solid build, great grip texture, easy to program buttons. The paddle placement is perfect. I haven’t had a single issue with mine. The only thing I wish it had was 4 paddles underneath instead of two but I still like it better than the two Scuf controllers I’ve owned and one of them had 4 paddles.

Having back buttons is essential for me. Pressing L3 to sprint hurts after awhile. And mapping another function to it won’t work. When I’m in the heat of battle, I will involuntarily squeeze the controller hard and press L3 accidentally. Depending on what’s mapped to L3, it could really mess me up. I need L3 to be something that won’t do that. Sprint works great, because accidentally pressing it does next to nothing to mess with me. I’m old, and have been gaming for decades. The back buttons have dramatically reduced the strain. If Sony won’t release a back button attachment, then they’ve got me. I’m shelling out the money. (Edit: I do have the DualSense Edge. It’s incredibly comfortable. And the higher stick caps has made a huge difference in that)
I previously used an Astro C40 on my PS4. Bought it soon after release, but have had to replace one stick every 4-6 months, with the other about 2 months later. I *JUST* replaced my DS Edge LEFT stick for the first time today - just over 7 months after release (got on Day 1 due to pre-order). Well worth my money, & my hands thank me for keeping the ergonomic feel of the Astro C40.
Love this controller and the best part is after you configure the back buttons and even the different profiles you can use the controller on the PC and the back buttons still work and you can change the profiles too. I even used it on the PS3 and it worked there too!
It's great... The PS5 integrated software is sublime to have. The switchable thumb sticks will give it unending longevity. Back paddles are a most, and the only downside is it only has two of them. It'd be perfect if there were 4

Been using mine nearly daily for 4 months now. Absolutely love it… won’t replace my scuf for certain games because I’m too used to 4 back paddles for those specific games… but every other game, dualsense edge is phenomenal
nah man, i spent 600 aud on the new scuf fps, months after comp warzone and d2 trials sweating, the l2 button inside snapped, my bro opened it up and fixed it, melted the two parts together... snapped again. I just bought the edge as it also felt too plastic/y. The edge is half the price and apparently feels heavier, durable-legit. Anyway i get edge couple hours, will miss my 4 fkn paddles tho@@KiiLz
@@KiiLz overall I'd say no... BUT... for Destiny 2 I am so used to 4 paddles that it's hard to downsize to 2 paddles. So if you think you'll be good with just 2 paddles, the DSE is the way to go.
My only complaint about the dualsense edge after about 2 months the rubber grip edge near the ends bubbled and separated. Alot of people have had the same problem happen.
Same, returning mine to BestBuy with my TotalTech support. It seems like it’s an issue that’s endemic to the design and materials used in construction.

I’ve had a PS5 for like six months now and already been through three controllers. I don’t throw them or anything. I got the Edge cus I was sick of replacing controllers just for them to start drifting a month later, tried cleaning them all and everything. Edge seems a lot better, no drift yet and there’s less holes and such for dust to get into. Also now I can just replace the left thumb stick when it starts drifting. So it’s expensive purchase for me but I still think it was a worth it one.

$200 is a bit crazy to me (almost half the cost of the entire system). I get they added the replaceable joysticks which would cost them in future controller sales, but they're still selling the replacement sticks for $20. The replaceable joysticks are nice, but $20? Those should be $5-$10. Just having to replace one of those at $20 is 1/3 of the cost of a regular controller. I think Sony is price gauging their customers a bit. I think this controller should be about $120-$130, not $200.
It's not just the replaceable sticks though - it's also the programmable buttons & back-buttons. Look at any of the programmable controllers w/ back-buttons/paddles, and they're all in the $170+ range. Most have limited perm-set options for the back buttons, or charge extra for re-programmable. I know players who go through a DualSense every 4-6months - and ONLY replace b/c of stick drifts. At $70/each... you've hit the same cost as the Edge in less than 2 years. Before I got my PS5 in Winter 2021, I had been using my Astro C40 on PS4 for 2 years; near daily, w/ weekend 8-12+hr gaming sessions. I still used my AstroC40 when playing on PS4 while son played on the PS5. Other than replacing one of the sticks every 5-6mths, it was still going strong until about a month or so ago, when the X started sticking. Mar 2019 - July 2023... for $200 + sticks... not a bad ROI at $340ish. I HAD been replacing the entire controller every 6-7 months... at $50-60 each. 8 controllers @ $50 each vs 1 controller + 7 sticks... $400 vs $340, plus the lower strain on my hands as I could program JUMP to a back button. Nope, it's worth it. I have clan mates & gaming buddies that went the SCUF route & for $170+, those last maybe a bit over a year, depending on how often you play. And near always - Stick Drift is the culprit.
@@alfonz0010 bro f*ck that controller I’m telling u unless ur a cod streamer or a ranked play max beast don’t get that controller it’s a waste of money and don’t think about other people may have it think about it how many people could even afford that after purchasing a ps5. I can afford it a lot of times over but would never waste my money on dumb shit that I don’t need but it’s up to you and ur value of £200😅😂😂
Also if you put the back paddles in on the opposite side then they sit more like a scuf controller, straight down. I found if I flinched I would accidentally press them the other way round. 😉 controller is awesome and although expensive it's better than repairing (ie replacing) scufs if a stick module breaks.
I'll hope GuliKit will release the hall effect replacement sticks for the dualsense edge soon, stick drift will than be a thing of the past. GulikKit posted their plans for on twitter in March 2023
Hall effect sticks its not the best option because its stuck to 250polling hz this is so bad for people who play fps games i prefer to have stick drift after 6 month and responsive sticks
I bit the bullet and bought the DSE after my new Cosmic Red DS started drifting after only a few months of gaming. I probably should have just bought the DSE from the get-go. The poor man pays twice. I'll leave my DSE wired probably most of the time, and when the inevitable drift happens, I'll just replace the analog stick. The back buttons and other features are a huge plus. A lot of games nowadays are running out of buttons to use, so having some back buttons will help tremendously.
Honestly you should buy a couple modules right away. I remember when Astro released their controller and eventually they discontinued it and stopped selling the modules and you couldn’t buy them at all.
After 3 Battle Beavers($250-$300/each)that lasted 4 months MAYBE before they got stick drift I ordered this DualSense Edge. Being able to replace the sticks and have all the functionality of a Battle Beaver is HUGE.
So I have been buying pro controllers playing Warzone because I can’t live without my back buttons. It seems every 6 -8 months I get stuck drift causing me to have to buy another. At over $200 a pop. I got the edge because for that same price I can just change out the sticks if I get stick drift. That’s amazing and so far so good. I love it.
Kinda looking into getting this controller. Replacing a thumb stick for £20 is kinda cool. Beats paying 60 for a new controller. Could pay for itself over a few years
@@mackinsviigamingmy was broken lol and I deep cleaned my controller and I still sprinted left haha nah imo and my luck with controllers this is the best option in my opinion I never experienced stick drift till ps4 controllers those are the worst
Best purchase I’ve made ngl, although 200 is pretty pricey for a controller and you won’t catch me getting that at full price but I found a sealed brand new dualsense edge for 120 bucks and it’s been a pretty decent purchase, I noticed over time the rubber grips in the back turn brown due to ig sweat so I slapped on a lil rubber swapped out my sticks and I’ve been using it as a daily since, one of my favorites but I’m still getting used to the mapping feature but I love the variety of games you could map them too! Overall for the price I got it 10/10
I'm a bit disappointed that Edge doesn't have these new magnetic sticks. These would be somewhat more expensive but would eliminate stick drift almost completely
Ya but they have to make money somehow and yes Sony is a multi millionaire dollar company but that still doesn’t mean they can’t not make money and they would lose money over a longer period of time if they used that type of stick and the replacements are only $19 so that’s not a lot it money anyway
4 main reasons of why i bought the dual sense edge is cause 1. it has mouse click triggers ( so u dont have to spend 1hr+ intalling them) 2. it has back paddles ( so u dont have to deal with installing them 3. it has removeable modules so you dint have to buy a brand new controller over stick drift 4. you can customize the deadzone sens and trigger deadone which u cant do with the dualsnse ps5 controller.
For the money they cost, Sony should be able to eliminate this drift nonsense. Why would they keep making a product knowing it has a defect. This is another way to fleece their customers. It’s criminal…
Been so unlucky with my last few controllers getting stick drift within a years time. Got this, it arrives today. The changeable thumbsticks was the selling point for me. Can’t wait to use it!

My only two concerns are the white color (get dirty easily) and the weak battery inside. Would really like to see a different color coming in a near future.
I have one and my grip on the bottom turned brown... And now I have the phobia of wanted to wear gloves while I hold the controller...lol.. And now my pads came off, but they want me to send it off And they going to replace it..
wired has more latency usually. i know they tested the PS4 controller, wired and unwired vs xbox controllers and some others and the fastest of them all in terms of latency was the PS4 controller but it had to be used unwired for it to get that super low latency.
Playstation themselves dont even use their own console, why the hell would they make it better?😂 If they can make billions by always releasing a better controller for 3x the price of the standard one, why would they change anything?
The DSE is honestly an amazing controller, Sony really outdid themselves with this thing. I've always preferred Playstation controllers over Xbox. But there are some major issues that keep me from buying this. The battery life is pretty abysmal from what I've heard and seen. Having to always be wired or constantly recharging after every gaming session is pretty cringe. And then the price is just too much right now. $200 for a controller is highway robbery regardless of all the bells and whistles. Maybe if theres a sale in the future i might pick one up. But for now I'll contend with my stock Dualsense.
I will say that the battery is crazy but it’s there first pro controller I believe. I thought $200 was crazy but considering you get extra joystick caps and can customize button settings and things is really worth it. I definitely understand that you would like to wait. I don’t see them dropping price any time soon, but you never know. I say whenever you can get your hands on one, I think you will like it👌🏾
I just buy a controller at Best Buy when they go on sale for $49.99 with 2 yr free replacement warranty protection which I paid $10.00 for . Unlimited swaps whenever one of them shows stick drift. 👍🤙
I think it's very worth it if your country has stock for replaceable sticks. My country doesn't, if I'm gonna buy replaceable sticks it would cost me $50-60 which is very sad and expensive. It's a goodbye if your edge has stick drift
I love it. I bought it day 1 and the controller has little to no controller drift and im a pretty hardcore gamer. Playing double claw and pressing in the thumbsticks pretty constantly. The controller has such a nice feeling to it. You honestly will consider the regular ps5 controller as a fake lol. The buttons on the regular ps5 feel pretty bad if you've touched the duelsense edge.
My only issue is the battery life. I had to charge the controller twice in one sitting while playing a PS4 game that really did not use vibration all that much. Love the controller, battery sucks.
I'm waiting for a second version. I have the Xbox elite series 2 and it is significantly better and cheaper. 4 paddles, textured rubber grips on the handles, 40 hours battery and half the price. I hope the next dualsense edge is closer to that in quality so I can justify the upgrade
@user-nj6rk5xs1m if this one doesn't sell mildly well then never. If it does then I'd say couple of years. If they did it too soon the people who did buy it would kick up a fuss because their new £200 controller is outdated in a year so its hard to say
@@Henlak- I’m still tryna figure out if I should just get the dual sense edge or just a regular dual sense … I’ve seen mixed reviews on dual sense edge.
@user-nj6rk5xs1m Just get a regular one. It's 1/4 the price and has a better battery life, only get the edge if you can afford both, have 1 or 2 regulars then an edge. My plan is to wait and see if 2 of my regulars break from stick drift and then if that happens I'll just get an edge because of the replacement joysticks
This doesn't seem to mention the biggest issue - the grip pads becoming discolored and (worse) coming detached. After less than a month, my pads started turning yellow, despite me being downright fastidious with the thing (washing hands before - and during - every use, and storing in its case at all other times). After around 1.5-2 months there's a small bubble below one of the pads, which seems to bode poorly for the long-term. Lots of people have had this exact issue, so it seems to be a defect in the design. My best guess about why it doesn't happen with some people is that it might be related to either environmental humidity or the composition of your sweat (I don't really sweat much, though). It's a huge shame, because the controller is perfect otherwise (aside from the battery, but that doesn't bother me much). They just fucked up badly with the grips.
Literally my only complaint about the controller. I got mine on day 1 and to be honest, my grips aren’t even that bad. But it definitely is bubbling up a little bit on the grips. Otherwise this might be the best controller I’ve ever bought
I have this controller and recently purchased scuf envision pro I really like the envision pro .. but the way I hold my controller for FPS games .. middle fingers on triggers index fingers on the bumpers while my ring fingers work the paddles ps5 Dualsense edge is awesome. After a year use I still haven’t any need too replace the sticks
Nice video. I want to buy The DualSense Edge and at this price I'm still wondering if I should do it. Thank you for your opinion for the DualSense Edge
I have a question, I know this is good but will this be a great controller for causal games? Like I don’t play many fps on my ps5 but I will eventually play shooters especially if they bring kill zone back . But Spider-Man , blood borne , and a couple others is what I play

Battery life is a joke on the Edge, I have an Xbox Elite 2 controller and I charge that thing every 3 or 4 weeks, that's how good the battery life is on that thing.
I quite enjoy the controller but the battery life is a big problem I’ve even turned down the led’s and it still dies in an hour or 2, the easy fix is to just keep it plugged in which isn’t a problem with the locking charger but still a little disappointing

Pro For Life. Just bought this and it's pretty nice. 200 bucks might be expensive, but it's still a hundred bucks LESS expensive than all of my scuff* controllers and considerably less than an evil* controller. I was happy with those controllers but almost no one sees all my "pretty", colorful, custom shells and thumb sticks except me. They've all lasted well and I still use them on PS-4, but I think this one from Sony is the way to go, for me, from now on. I think the best feature is being able to replace the thumb stick mechanism for 20 bucks, if you develop "stick drift". (scuff and evil are trademarks and both begin with lower case)
I bought this when it came out and only had to up my dead zone to 7 so far and that what I use even without stick drift and I haven’t needed to replace the joysticks yet 😌
Had to return my dualsense due to cramps after 40 minutes or so. The ds4 with a back button attachment feels infinitely better in my opinion. Got a device that allows me to use my ds4 and Xbox elite on the ps5 and never looked back.

Exactly, I only use the cable
@@chandler2 still better than getting a new controller 🤷🏻♂️

I've had this controller going on 6 months and best controller I've EVER owned. I wish I had one of these 20years ago!!
And the higher stick caps has made a huge difference in that)
The regular ps5 controller hurts my hand after 30 mins is this 1 different?
@@_-_.7 Depends on what your problem is. Mine is repeatedly pressing L3 to sprint. Mapping that to the back buttons makes all the difference.
I always accidentally hit R3 and enter photo mode in games lol. Glad I'm not the only one haha

Yeah same on the ps3 it worked really well!!
@NomadFlair Yeah, I went back to play the OG MW2 and was wondering if it'll work and come to my surprise it worked perfectly!

Been using mine nearly daily for 4 months now. Absolutely love it… won’t replace my scuf for certain games because I’m too used to 4 back paddles for those specific games… but every other game, dualsense edge is phenomenal
Is scuf better ?
nah man, i spent 600 aud on the new scuf fps, months after comp warzone and d2 trials sweating, the l2 button inside snapped, my bro opened it up and fixed it, melted the two parts together... snapped again.

It happened to me less than 2 months after launch. I got a refund. They're not fit for purpose.

Definitely worth it man!

The only thing holding me back, is wondering if they’ll drop an all black one. The moment they do I’ll buy it.
I was thinking the same thing, but it may never happen, so I just went for the execution
It is half the price 😂
It's 20 dollars for at least 400 hrs of usage also stick drift is manly the one stick(left) and you can easily clean them.
200$ for a controller with a 4-5h battery life.
@@alfonz0010 bro f*ck that controller I’m telling u unless ur a cod streamer or a ranked play max beast don’t get that controller it’s a waste of money and don’t think about other people may have it think about it how many people could even afford that after purchasing a ps5. Also if you put the back paddles in on the opposite side then they sit more like a scuf controller, straight down. I found if I flinched I would accidentally press them the other way round. 😉 controller is awesome and although expensive it's better than repairing (ie replacing) scufs if a stick module breaks.
just saw this comment and tried it out, SO MUCH BETTER. this configuration has now become my favorite paddle config.
I’ve never been a fan of L3 and R3 buttons and would love to designate them to rear paddles. That is the key reason I’m looking at this guy.
I'll hope GuliKit will release the hall effect replacement sticks for the dualsense edge soon, stick drift will than be a thing of the past. GulikKit posted their plans for on twitter in March 2023
Mover heard of this company - need to check them out
Hall effect sticks its not the best option because its stuck to 250polling hz this is so bad for people who play fps games i prefer to have stick drift after 6 month and responsive sticks
I’ve had this controller for a year. I’ve had it since launch & have no issues with it
I bit the bullet and bought the DSE after my new Cosmic Red DS started drifting after only a few months of gaming.
Congratulations 🥳 - hope you enjoy man
Honestly you should buy a couple modules right away. I remember when Astro released their controller and eventually they discontinued it and stopped selling the modules and you couldn’t buy them at all.
The poor man pays twice? Dude, you paid more to get the same potentiometers. Never assume you're getting better quality because you're paying more.
@@_MJ07_ true, but for 20 bucks he can replace the stick rather than spending 70 on a new controller.

You can replace it
After 3 Battle Beavers($250-$300/each)that lasted 4 months MAYBE before they got stick drift I ordered this DualSense Edge.

Overall for the price I got it 10/10
I agree, it’s worth at the end of the day and the customisations are good. 👍
At least you can pay $20 for a thumb stick replacement instead of spending $200-210 changing a new controller.
Where do you live ya have to pay $200!??
I've had five of the official ps5 controller (standard) the only thing that ever goes out on them are the directional buttons up down left right.
@@failed_artist2503you need 3(!) Replacements to pay for itself,
4 main reasons of why i bought the dual sense edge is cause 1. it has mouse click triggers ( so u dont have to spend 1hr+ intalling them) 2. it has back paddles ( so u dont have to deal with installing them 3. it has removeable modules so you dint have to buy a brand new controller over stick drift 4. you can customize the deadzone sens and trigger deadone which u cant do with the dualsnse ps5 controller.
Just makes sense overall
For the money they cost, Sony should be able to eliminate this drift nonsense.
Why would they keep making a product knowing it has a defect.
This is another way to fleece their customers.
It’s criminal…
Been so unlucky with my last few controllers getting stick drift within a years time. Got this, it arrives today. The changeable thumbsticks was the selling point for me. Can’t wait to use it!

wired has more latency usually. i know they tested the PS4 controller, wired and unwired vs xbox controllers and some others and the fastest of them all in terms of latency was the PS4 controller but it had to be used unwired for it to get that super low latency.

Fair enough
How long you think until they release the next version of the dual sense edge ?
I have one there are two months. I don't want to play without it. It's expensive but it's great!

pro for life even tho i don't have one yet. Deciding on this or the other controller you showed during the outro
Edge is better tbh
Mine turned yellowish after a couple of months.

I have a question, I know this is good but will this be a great controller for causal games? Like I don’t play many fps on my ps5 but I will eventually play shooters especially if they bring kill zone back . But Spider-Man , blood borne , and a couple others is what I play

instead of fixing stick drift they made it so u give them 20 for new once... wow
Money 💰
@@NomadFlair the margins on that controller must be sky high... The greed is real
Just think about the fact. If u play a lot you might have stick drift in 5 6months mayve faster. Cost: 70 for a new one. If u have that with this one. You save 45euro for me. So whats better?
@@frtillidie-lm5mb the damn thing cost over 200 here... Their is no saving money.... Still we know how to fix stick drift.. an expensive premium product should have stuff like this fixed.
So far better than the Elite Series 2 controller. Mine broke down in like 2 years.
It's not worth £200
Man shut up
Yeah I got this a week after it came out, I barely use it but it is definitely amazing...I use basically for warzone...looking to get good use out of it with Spidey 2
Its not worth spending $200
Depends on what you play ofc
@@NomadFlair still 200 is too much for it honestly
200$ is to much for you let's get that understood it's worth 200$ your just to broke
@@Stoned2death6969Despite your grammar errors, your insecurity screams louder when you call others “broke”. Maybe they’re just smarter than you and anyone with your mindset, let’s get that straight. I got one and I can say for sure, not worth $200. Sure, great controller, just not worth $200.
No not really lil bro. It's not worth it to you, to others it would be worth it. It's simple.
I have stick drift on one of my controllers that i purchased not that long ago, so I am seriously considering this one.
Go for it man
Honestly I love this controller, just wish the battery life was better. 6-8 hours for the battery is not a lot. Other than that, no complaints from me, been my main controller ever since i got it 5 months ago
Can’t you use the cable?
@@NomadFlair yes, but I do also enjoy using it as a wireless controller, and people with not always have it plugged in 24/7. The cable lock for it is really nice if you do use it as a wired controller
I own both I dont understand why people are complaining about the price my fully equipped Elite and elite 2 case and hardware was 179 this was 20.00 more. Unequipped elite 2 no case no hardware is 120.00. Actually like this controller better because when you wear out the thumb sticks you can buy new ones my elite lasted a year starting having issue with the thumb sticks had to buy a brand new core controller this just buy a couple of thumbsticks. This reminds me of a scuf controller well worth 200.00 battery life isnt greatest just plug it into my phone charger thats in my couch so not a big deal.
My gf bought me one for my Bday and I gotta say I’m really playing my shooters now 🔥🔥🔥
Hahahaha I bet you are!!!
I wish they would just make a ps5 back button like I like the controller but budget players should be able to have an option to purchase. That ps4 back button was honesty amazing for the price
Thanks for the video man!
You’re welcome bro
I’ve suffered too much joy con drift not to pass this up. Love this controller
I bought this when it came out and only had to up my dead zone to 7 so far and that what I use even without stick drift and I haven’t needed to replace the joysticks yet 😌
my control faded the color of the ball button, with 4 months of use. aesthetically it was horrible.
Really, damn
I love the controller and definitely love playing that Forza Horizon 5 game you showed at 4:27
Had to return my dualsense due to cramps after 40 minutes or so. The ds4 with a back button attachment feels infinitely better in my opinion. Got a device that allows me to use my ds4 and Xbox elite on the ps5 and never looked back.
My Ps5 came with a great working controller in the box.
I can buy some great games for that price .
Awesome
It’s hilarious how many people say ohh well I’ll just buy a replacement analog module so I do t have to worry about stick drift. Replacement analogs have been scalped every time they get restocked. Don’t even have them on eBay or aliexpress anymore. I’ve seen only one listing for 45$ over double msrp 😂
Its so stupid, why the fuck dont they just fix the main issue instead. Im so done with sony controllers. I had so many break on me it aint even funny.
I'm literally about to buy this just for the replaceable analog sticks alone.
I've gone through 3 damn controllers because of the stupid stick drift. I clean them regularly as well and they still get messed up.
This will be better
Damn, the price here in The Netherlands is €239,99.
Still getting it tho cuz my controller is broken, but I'm literally waiting for my money right now. I'll be able to get it in a few hours! Thanks for the vid! For me it's definitely worth it.
Update, just bought it. It FEELS AMAZING! have yet to play a game with it but omg!
Im for sure gonna do a monitor set up now
1:15 Braiding does nothing against it bunching together.....
Only downside for me is it almost always requires a charging cord
The back paddle for my dualsense edge just broke. That, Sony, needs to work on improving it.
That "enhanced" Grip started to bubble after three to four weeks of heavily gaming (gaming-vacation) on both of the controllers I bought new... I chose them because the sticks of my normal dual senses started do drift (after a year or so?) and I thought next time I can simple switch them, but well... didn't expect THAT! 😱 Edit: #Pro4Life I guess.
That’s weird mate! I’ve been using it everyday for almost 2 years now and everything still looks mint!
I think probably will get this one, since I seldom use analog and always in wired mode. Thanks for your infos on this pad~
I just wish that the back buttons could be used as additional buttons and not just remapped buttons.
Hey, question what if you have sticking or jammed controller buttons on one of these bad boys. What, then?
Spent 250+ on a hex gaming controller only for it to have drift in the first month of use. Now the l1 button is stuck literally no click anymore and thier customer service is a nightmare. Definitely getting this one
