- Today I installed an Axleback exhaust on my 2013 g37s from eBay while I wait for my full catback exhaust. I was actually very impressed with the way it sounded and the install was pretty easy. So is this an example of an exhaust you would put after you do a muffler delete since you need a new pipe that matches the new length because of the muffler being gone
No this is a replacement for a muffler delete. In a muffler delete, they will weld on straight pipes. While an axleback gets rid of the muffler and you can just bolt on the straight pipes
How tinted are those taillights? And are they a custom cut out, darker in the edges or just a straight tint? Looking to get mine done but don't want to smoke them out, yours has a good red balance infused!
I think they are 50%. I can link them here. They are a straight tint, not darker on the edges and it's not a cutout. It's a sheet, you have to wrap it yourself. Check out my video on how we did it! There is drone from 3-4k rpm. It's pretty bad on the highway

i just bought a g37 what would you recommend buying for a exhaust?? need help im new to this
So there are a lot of exhausts. My personal favorite is the motordyne and greddy but they are very expensive. Also, they are all on back order so they'll take forever to get to you which is why I cancelled my order. This is a cheaper alternative if you don't want to drop the cash for a new full catback exhaust

You should’ve removed all that rusty piping and just went straight pipe all the way until you get your exhaust system it’ll be a little dronie but at least it’ll get rid of those rusty gaskets

Raspy would be getting rid of the caty or resonator not mufflers really
Yeah it's not raspy, it sounds good but it is really drony at around 3-4k rpm

It's pretty much a muffler delete. But it definitely sounds much more clean. I've heard muffler deletes sound super raspy. There is a lot of drone though from 3-4k
@@yayasgarage from my experience look into getting 3" pipes from your cats all the way back, it'll free up airflow and make the sounds more deeper like a gtr
Would it be too loud then? I was thinking about just getting test pipes but that might too super rasp.
