Why did I get a Manzo Axel back exhaust on my G37? Mainly for the sound and the price. Plan to do a full custom build later with high flow cats, but in the meantime I wanted to get rid of that boring ultra quiet like stock sound....

so far the beluga is getting my attention for G37 S 2008
The manzo exhaust isnt a bad option, I talked about it many times that if my g37 had not came with the Ark Grip exhaust I would have gone with a Manzo exhaust

Sounds good. Would a Megan Racing Exhaust Dual Muffler Axle Back of the same type be a good alternative to those you mentioned?

I had it on my 05 350z. Worked good till I sold the car. Had it on for about 4 years. No problem

thank you, yes the stock resonators are still in place on mine which helps with the drone
Hey man, what is the different in sound, quality between Beluga, Rev9 and Manzo? i don't see the Manzo in ebay no more for sale
all 3 of those are the same, with a different brand logo stamped on it so the sound will be the same as long as it has the small resonator/muffler on it. Some of them make one with out that which is equivalent to a muffler delete, I don't recommend that, drone will be awful. But otherwise, if it looks just like the Manzo in the video it'll be the same
Hey Chris do you know if I can use the Manzo on a awd 2014 q60. Pretty much the same set up except the motor. Haven’t seen much catback exhaust options for my car. Looking for something not too loud and this seems perfect.
I don't see why it wouldn't fit as it's behind the axle and wouldn't think the awd system would interfere, but I haven't looked under an X model in the rear to see if there's any clearance difference there. However, looking at the manzo listing it says 'rear only' on all the listings .... 🤔?? Technically anything can be made to fit with a little finesse, so worst case, a muffler shop could make any minor adjustments to it to make it fit if desired. I know my shop didn't charge much at all for my complete custom exhaust I've done recently (video is on the channel) So I'd say it's worth a shot to try it if you're willing to have a muffler shop tweak it if necessary. Sorry I couldn't give a definite answer.
I found this one, Beluga is the same as the Manzo (also Rev9) just rebranded. Anyway, this was says G37x in the title and the description so fitiment shouldn't be a problem for the manzo either. hey did you ever get the HFC to match up with your axle ?
I didn't have hfc on in this video, added those when I changed to full custom cbe and had a shop install them. No issues
Is there a tune required when installing an Axleback muffler?
Nope and no CEL...just bolt on and enjoy
How has the exhaust held up so far?
Great, I actually had the manzo mufflers on the car for 2 years before I ever did the video so no problems there. I finished the exhaust build recently and went full custom so I could do a tune, I ended up selling the manzos at that point because they were too loud with my new set up.

So suffice it to say, the manzo mufflers held up great and are now on a 370z somewhere haha.
All I really want is to enhance the VQ sound too, this is not my race car. Pick up new Manzo mufflers tomorrow for 150

@@1LElife i found them used. My car came with muffler deletes then I got manzos and the loud drone inside was no different. Save your money and get a real catback
B H I have the Magnaflow CBE with 1320 Test Pipes... it’s way too raspy for me and I was considering replacing the axle back portion of my Magnaflow with the Manzo
Will these fit a 2012 g37x sedan non sport?
no, not straight out of the box, just the coupe. The Sedan has a different design, but they could be made to fit by a muffler shop with a little tweaking.

bro dose this really drone that bad, I really wanted it for my g37s coupe, but I cant stand to hear the drone sound
hey man thanks for your comment. It's not the worst drone I've ever heard and certainly not as bad as a muffler delete or something, but I did want people to be aware of it. It has a little bit of drone at about 2500 rpm and up (obviously the drone is more significant higher in the rpm, for example around 3k rpm would be pretty noticeable) so if you keep the rpms below that which is easy to do in city driving it's not a problem. It didn't prohibit conversation or anything in the car, but I found myself having to turn my bluetooth phone volume all the way up on my interstate commute to work as I was in that 2500 rpm band in 6th gear. However, don't let this discourage you from getting it for you car as I fixed my drone issue for $20 without any resonator or welding exhaust mods and you can check that out in this video: ruclips.net/video/cIipeHQ7_ko/видео.html
To easily improve the sound over your stock exhaust for very little money I'd definitely do it all again if that answers your question! Hope that helps

Had the axle back on my sedan, couldn’t stand the drone and cabin noise, bought the obx catback so will be getting that soon

No, it's just an axle back. As I mentioned in the video I did this soley for the sound; a less expensive alternative to an OEM sport muffler. I've done full cat back systems on my Zs in the past and didn't feel any difference with those either. To "feel" any difference I would need to go full catback (probably high flow cats too) and a tune to have any noticeable gains. Hope that helps
GQ37 Quick question and I hope you can answer this.. so let's say I install hfc and axel back mufflers.... Would I get the same gains after a tune as if I had hfc and a cat back exhaust?
Will the Manzo axleback fit a 2010 G37s Convertible?
Since it's just muffler yes, not sure if your y pipe is any different on a vert (like an x model) but the muffler is the same. Just FYI some of the bolts are seized / welded to the nuts so though install is easy other than that, I had to get a muffler shop to torch those off.

I received the Manzo mufflers in today. They did actually fit my 2010 G37s Convertible perfectly! I did have to cut off the old rusty bolts and drill new holes. Glad the new exhaust came with new nuts/bolts and gaskets! Other than that, it was a pretty easy job, even in the dark while it was raining lol. Sounds 100 times better than factory!

I own a Camry and a G37, they sound completely different! LMAO
you took me seriously 🤣 now that's funny. If you came from a 350z/G35 then the G37 would definitely sound muffled to you as the stock exhaust note on the VQ35 platform was dope, but for some reason Infiniti did not get the recipe right for the VQ37 out of the box, but it's all good, there's lots of fixes for that!
