Why can't all how-to repair videos be like this? Quick, to the point, no fluff and explanation, everything he does is shown, all the dead time is cut, reassembly is included. Everything you need, nothing you don't
Such a good video dude! Mine wasnt going into neutral so olayed sround with the clutch cable and then found this video. This also helped it show 3rd gear woohoo! I didnt sand it dont have any sand paper but just cleaned it. Maybe ill samd it at a later date
is not only like that > the wire will broken inside (from vibrations ), you mast to clean the silicon of the back and welding the wire , then will be a good fix !
My experience: The sensor is housed in plastic. Do not overtighten it because this dingdong (aka myself) did it accidentally and now it has a crack on the screwhole. The replacement unit is like $200 or more.
Best tutorial i've ever seen. No shittalking, no music. Just the solution.
Thank you 🙏
Agreed!
100% agree straight to the point great video angle, great explanation Best one I’ve ever seen as well

What kind of cleaner do you use? What grit Sandpaper? And what kind of oil?
Thanks!
Thank you brother!
Fantastic.
Bookmarked for that rainy day.
Hi,
What type of sand paper did you use? Ty
Thank you👍
Hey @thumperdude can you spray a bit of ACF-50 in the sensor to keep it clean and corrosion-free?
Do you just use any kind of sand paper? And with the oil … a special kind of oil? Or just motorcycle oil ?
good
Which spray do you use to clean the sensor? Also, what type of oil do you use?
i believe i used brake cleaner. and i just use yamalube which should be what's recommended
Many thanks to safe my time

What oil did you use for the spring thing
yamalube. i dont remember the viscosity but use the same motor oil you put in your engine.
This started happening on my 2019 MT07. It doesnt show 5th gear. Im gonna try this method and will tell you if it worked.
Work?
Did you add the chain guard back at the end?
I missed that part too :)
What oil did you use?
Looks like engine oil
mine keeps flicking between gear when riding. going to see if this fixes it.
Did it go work?
@@Squiideoh unfortunately in order to get to it i have to pull the clutch pack out. it doesn't bother me THAT much lol. 2016 Suzuki V-Strom.
