Double Muzio is actually quite sound (at least if it's done the correct way), with perfect play it seemingly ends in a (material) draw, but white can usually also find a perpetual.

Fun! It’s cool to see the power of king safety in the short time controls. Like you said at the end, d3 being the best move is not at all intuitive... So, given the time constraint the advantage is definitely to the attacker regardless of the ‘true’ strength of the position. I’m not a super strong player, but my intuition is that this meta could be pretty exploitive in blitz up to a certain rating level where defensive ability is just too strong.

Recently I was playing someone with a nickname DrNykterstein.
I got a winning hand right from the start of the game, and even despite of that I've blundered (man, this is really scary to play someone with such a nickname :D), but then anyway won on the time. That was the only game because I went all in at the first hand.

After Be5, opponent has f6, blocking the bishop. Instead, the best move is Bxe6, and only after black recaptures you can skewer the queen and rook with Be5, as the f pawn wouldn't be there to stop the attack.
