    This was maybe my favorite Kobe game. He just ripped the Suns' hearts out, with every 4rth quarter basket! Afterwards, he tapped Alvin Gentry as if to say "nice try coach" and then soared to the bench. The deflated look on the Suns fans' faces! All of that, was a snapshot, of Kobe Bean Bryant's AMAZING LEGACY!

      @FireAngelChris 9 лет назад +1

      john russo i think harden had a fantastic year could of been mvp and will continue to improve.I think curry is a great player and very fun to watch deserving of the mvp.I think lebron wont be denied this year and while curry will get his,i think lebon impact will be bigger.

      Fire Angel Chris nice to hear your opinion on this brother i think harden had a fantastic year as well and him and curry were both deserving of that mvp and i think he will come back even better next season and might with the mvp i think it will be out of him curry davis and kd next season for the mvp..
      and yes curry is fantastic to watch an amazing all round great player and i think him and lbj will have a great series but i think gsw is too deep for cavs overall but it will go 7 games imo and i think gsw will take it a orical but i could be wrong as you said i dont know if lebron will be denied this finals hes hungry since last years whooping by the spurs hmm this is going to be great bruv

    • @FireAngelChris

    • @Matt-ne3cl
      @Matt-ne3cl 9 лет назад

      Fire Angel Chris yeah green barnes and klay will each be guarding james because they cant stop him obviously like with harden but i think the key for cavs winnning is for kyrie to be at least 95% and he will be hard to stop and jr needs to keep making his shots and for gsw to win they need klay to step up and to play solid defence because we both know gsw will score 100 points pretty much every game with there high powerd offence. because we both know lbj and curry will show up so those other guys need to step up

I remember watching this live and feeling like I'd never seen anything like that before. Even watched it with a Suns fan who didn't even get too upset because he felt like there was nothing that could be done to stop it. Sublime moment. May never see a player on this level ever again.

    Kobe may not be the official GOAT, but he was MY GOAT...Kobe wasn't as "naturally" gifted as Jordan or Lebron, but he did the MOST with what he had; in the gym first everyday, constantly working on his game, driving and working to be as great as he could be. Nobody worked harder or was more driven. Kobe was ironman...broken shooting finger? He'd wrap it like a mummy and shoot through the pain. Torn shoulder on his shooting arm? Dude learned to shoot left handed. Ruptured achilles? Hobbles to the free throw line and drills 2 clutch free throws. Kobe was passion and determination incarnate. He poured himself into his passions and strived to be great at whatever he did. This is why he was so beloved by so many, and this is why there will never be another player like Kobe Bryant.

    This is exactly why you cannot see this style of play right now from anyone. The right basketball decision is to hit the open man when you are double or triple and the logic is simple, they will make more shots.
    Kobe is the exception of this rule. ISO plays are the easiest play to run in basketball. It requires almost no passing but just spacing. It has almost no room for mistakes because there are no ball movements. This is the ultimate trump card offensively because you cannot guard those shots.
    Yet kobe shoots 45% in his 20 year career taking those shots. A lot of people still cannot understand the insanity behind this shooting percentage taking those shots.

    It's crazy to know how much hate and complete disrespect Kobe has gotten over the last few years. I mean, in my personal, biased opinion, he's right there at the top with Michael. Those are the two greatest individual players we've ever seen. You wanna say one is better than the other, then that's fine, but the overall difference isn't large. But now, basically since his Achilles injury, analysts and whoever has a platform give him so little credit and praise for the kind of player he was. If he's not in your top ten, then you just don't like him.

      Kobe at time.was selfish but if u watched laker basketball you will.know kobe played team ball and made teammates better on them.championship Lakers teams ... everyone always said kobe couldn't win without shaq but he proved them.wrong ... people don't realize how unstoppable 00s shaq was it was obvious the best game plan was to feed shaq . kobe could've easily won them finals.mvps ... I'd put the 01 Lakers the team that only.lost once postseason game . think about it as good as them 90s bulls was they never faced a team with prime shaq and prime.kobe .... it be hard to beat against the 01 Lakers the bulls wouldn't have had a anwser for shaq . and jordan or pippen never faced a scorer like kobe . mj and kobe are easily the best scorers I've ever seen Jordans midrange shot was a little better than jordan had a quicker first step bigger hands . anyone who says players today are more athletic than jordan in the 80s. the teams in the 80s and 90s and even early 00s are better than teams in today's nba .. there is no dominating big men anymore everything is all small ball now days . if shaq came into the nba today he would average 35-40 a game . I've never seen anyone like shaq anytime he caught the ball underneath it was a dunk automatic. people wanna say kareem and wilt was better thsn shaq there crazy ... wilt and kareem never faced a force like 00s shaq .. shaq went against hakeem when he was young the early 00s shaq would destroy hakeem .

    Kobe Bryant was the only NBA player who were cheered "MVP" even in road games. I remember even the rival BOS chanted MVP in the Garden.

    I swear, I don't think there's no one other than MJ that made more demoralizing shots than Kobe. It's like, Kobe wasn't the best shooter, but he really wore defenses out man lol. That boy mean haha.

      Leonel Franco he also took an incredible amount of difficult shots. If you could somehow determine how difficult the average shot was by any player in nba history, Kobe would definitely top the list. It’s a wonder he didn’t shoot 35% for his career, so many tough shots

      Kobe was really taking over as the best in the league in the early 2000s. 00 was Shaq’s year but I’d say by 2002 Kobe was being considered the best by plenty. The tmac comparisons didn’t last and Kobe kept going strong til the injury in 13. He held on as long as he could and lots of us still argued for him being the best until that injury.
