Chris's childlike innocence.
You can't tell if he is acting or really nervous
That is what made him a genius.
This is acting. If you watch him on late night with Letterman he is genuinely nervous, his laugh is awkward in a super genuine way, and in one clip, the way he looks at Dave is like a kid getting to meet his favorite athlete or musician. It's really sweet to watch. This however, this is acting...damn good, but still acting.
both
That's the point of acting
She and Chris hooked up during the filming of this. Is what I heard
It's crazy how much you can miss someone you never even knew. Chris truly was the greatest.
I wish he was alive so bad,he would be an Oscar nominee by now if he was
We all were able to see who he was. I'm 26 and thanks to my 3 older brothers for introducing me to his movies otherwise, it probably would've skipped my age and friend group.
Chris Farley was a classic.
We all miss Chris...... but Alec doesn't miss anyone!
The greatest what? He had zero range and played the exact same character in every scene/ sketch.
@@brithewineguy what? 🤦♂
It's hard to watch Chris Farley. I miss him so much. Comedy GREAT.
What I love about Farley in this sketch and in general is just how much humility he had. Even if he was pretending to be awkward or goofy he just had such a down to earth humble demeanor about him, and that is what I think made him so popular. He was hilarious, but he also had a heart of gold. Not too many celebrities we can say that about. Chris your kindness and talent is missed sorely man. If only every comedian could be as funny and humble as you were. Miss you so much buddy. You were and still are the best.
The thing where he did newt Gingrich in the Senate was funny and everyone laughed almost like they were normal.
He always dedicated his time with church charities and children in the hospital and never told anyone
He was the same amazing actor when he asked Paul about The End.
@@jerryc8978 The Doors' song?
@@petestanton1945 McCartney.
I'd choose Chris over Baldwin any day.
I bet Kim looks back on this sketch and realizes Farley had a heart of gold....
He'd crush her like a coffee table!
Lindsey Allison Westhaven does anyone have an accurate number on how many tables Farley took out in his career
Yeah I'd rather laugh than get yelled at and smacked around any day
Well Alec and Kim divorced afterward.
I think we can all agree that Chris Farley would never call his daughter a pig over the phone
@@Cabledeluz1977 While true, that's pretty low. He would have been a great father if he had gotten his life under control. Everyone always says he was the friendliest, most generous guy. Pity.
@@Cabledeluz1977 did you watch the documentary everybody said he was the nicest person
@@josh-lz9kd I heard an interview with Jay Mohr, who knew Chris very well, and he said Chris "was like the sun". I guess that says it all.
That makes me sad.
Yeah it's kind of amazing in the "cancelled culture" we're in that no one seems to care about Baldwin verbally assaulting his own daughter. Similar to who no one ever cared about Woody Allen's behavior and now everyone does. So maybe in 2030 people will realize Baldwin is a monster also
He plays that awkward character well because that's who he really was as a teen towards women. He took that pain and turned it into a positive. The genius in this man...wow 😱
That's what every great comedian does. Turns their pain into laughter. Chris was definitely the best at that
He used to beat the crap out of himself to get a laugh, wish he could've made it through his challenges
He sure tried hard. Countless drug rehabs and weight loss clinics. He had sober periods but in the end, fatal addiction seemed to have been hard wired into him.
Wow I honestly didn't know that I wondered why I started feeling uncomfortable watching this now I know why
When she grabbed and held his arm 😢
@@annimar43 I don't buy that. Truth is. They JUST want to eat and do drugs with impunity
"I don't want Alec to get mad at me"---boy was he right.
It would have been funny if she had casually said something like "Don't worry about him, he's chatting up some 16-year-old bimbo on the other side of the studio."
I know Kim has some man hands, but seriously if I had a chick that beautiful in my life, I wouldn't let her go over something even as small as a plate of tasty nachos.
Like the Las Vegas casino movie with Alec breaking the legs of of some card counting punk with a fake pregnant wife watching his legs being shattered -Alec: "either this or I kill the broad" Welcome to Vegas!
@Dra O What, he was abusive?
@@starsiegeplayer , yeah he beat the shit out of her. Plus he is a far left lunatic so you know he is a stupid piece of shit in every aspect of his life.
SNL will never be the same without him.
LastCommodore y
Espcially with the new cast.
SNL sucks for the past 20 years
The WORLD
Chris, Adam Sandler, Norm Macdonald made the show funny.
He didn’t need the fat guy jokes to be funny. His timing, passion, and innocence were amazing.
If only Chris lived past 2002. He'd be tapping that, just like he always wanted to.
R.I.P. to a legend.
If he lived during 2002 maybe he would have played Eminem's dad in 8 Mile? lol
I always wished Chris lost some weight and quit drugs, would love to have him here, I also miss norm Macdonald
Why do I get the feeling the opening scene from Little Nicky Sandler had Chris in his mind while writing the script. Don’t get me wrong John Lovitz is an amazing actor legend in his own right but that scene screams Chris ! I can definitely tell Adam had him in his mind that time and every time he writes a script for his movies!
Somewhere in the time-sphere, an alternative universe got to enjoy Beverly Hills Ninja sequels.
What a stupid comment.
What would happen if Chris Farley, Robin Williams, and Jim Carrey were all in the same sketch? Would my TV explode?
wow ;) comedy heaven i miss chris
I'd splode
ahahaha hilarious no
Ryan OBeirne
It wouldnt be good. They're all completely different types of comedy.
Chris Farley was and is a legend.
Miss Chris farley as well as John candy.
@rudy2fat Ralphie May as well. RIP

@@eminodinofrapgod5641 Chris Farley was a coke head, and John candy was a heroin addict...ralphie was no better, nothin but some cheese factory that shut down

@@philipmartin2919 who are you talking about?? The speedballer or the heroin junky???
I love watching these sketches of Chris just being himself with like an attractive woman, because he's so very endearing, but at the same time, I really hate it because I know just how much self-loathing there is here. Like, this sketch just breaks my heart because it really is, on the surface, "Ha-ha, Chris is fat, so let's make it like this hot girl that he has no chance with say she dated a bunch of fat guys, including one who was dead at the time". The only reason this works is because he's so willing to be that guy and I just wish he didn't feel like he always had to be.
Soo cute. I love Chris Farley. Kim was good too. Rest In Peace buddy
I love when chris hits himself and says "you idiot" his timing is flawless
I do it all the time and it's not a joke 😥😥😥😥
Yes breaking the 4th wall every time. He's representing 4 everybody on that couch w celeb goddess Kim.
@@bilbobaggins4710 it wasn't a joke for him either...
You and me both, brother. You know it’s coming, but you still laugh every time. Too bad the audience didn’t seem to feel the same way.
@@bilbobaggins4710lol
These interviews he did were the best. I think the McCartney one is my favorite.
theivory1 Jeff Daniels is up there too!
That was awesome!
@R.G. Kooper Lol!
I agree; I sometimes think about one with a lot of fondness! "Remember…… Remember when you were with the Beatles?" LOL :-)
"Did... you ever see Die Hard??"
Lmao
Chris Farley brought us a lot of joy and happiness. Thank you Chris. Miss you.
One of the greatest ever, never will there be another Chris Farley 🥲
Fun watch. And now, if you don't mind, I'm gonna go watch The Getaway...
I miss Chris Farley all the time. I even named my english Bulldog Farley after him. That entire generation of SNL was special to me, but Farley was something else and was taken way too soon
This is hard to watch knowing Chris's severe shyness around women he considered very pretty. There is some humor here but by knowing so much of his backstory it's diminished. Chris did have some girlfriends but his alcohol & drug abuse with his severe mood swings derailed all of them. His intense and volatile romance with VS model Lorri Bagley (her nickname was Kit Kat but Chris called her Kitten) occurred during Chris's several straight sober years but ended when he relapsed.
Chris was a very sweet and gentle soul and it shows here. Our world was forever changed when he left us. ❤
I love Chris Farley so much it hurts and it hurts a soul that someone like him is gone
How things turn out, Chris Farley would probably be a better person and husband for her than Baldwin was. Maybe he would not have had substance problems if he found a nice girl.
Can’t live with them can’t live without out them.
My dad was a great man, never stopped my mom from abusing prescription drugs. Its an inside job, you have to want it for yourself.
Samuel Junes actually the right person, therapy or belief can save one from any addiction. It’s been done before.
The right person can bring out the best person in yourself therefore making you want to make that change
Are you insane? The guy was a dopehead. Funny and talented, but a complete fuckup.
*Alec Baldwin walks in * BANG
His comedy is awesome but its his big ♡ is what makes us ♡ him even more. We miss you Chris RIP and happy #ValentinesDay. BTW his birthday is tomorrow
May Flower yeah
I wish he could have wrestled his demons and realized that people were laughing with him, not at him.
Chris can make anyone laugh, even she broke her character and smirked at 3:08
In an alternate reality, Chris doesn't die and goes on to marry Kim Bassinger after she splits with Alex Baldwin
From the good old days before SNL became unfunny and obsessed with politics
YESSSSS! Was talking about this today at work actually. I miss MadTV! I wish I could get all the seasons on DVD or download, mainly season 7. Miss it

I am very deeply in love with Chris Farley. And I let it be known.
He hit his head so hard in that one part! Farley over Baldwin any day of the week !
Everything that Farley does is perfect.

BELUSHI CANDY FARLEY
All 3 sent to earth by God to ease our pain and suffering, even if for a short while. 😥
Idc I friggin love Chris Farley 💙💙💙
Even if Chris was thin, "handsomeER", wtfe. It would STILL be nice. He had a mind for comedy, and self-deprication. Two things that many other so-called "celebries" or "funny" guys could definitely use, if they had either. Which, some have NEITHER, so yeah. They got neither going for them! There's that. A LOSE-LOSE situation and scenario going on there. MAKING FUN OF OTHER PEOPLE IS.....NOT AAALLLWWWAAAYYSSS GD FUNNY!! Except, maybe to the person doing it. Maybe, not even then. That don't make it comedy, though. Hell, half the time, it don't even make that shit FUNNY!! Sometimes, it's NOT EVEN GD CLOSE TO FUNNY!!!! Plus, just being actually WILLING to make fun of yourself is better than actually doing it, all the GD time. Chris had that timing. He seemed to know "when" called for "what". A very sensitive, loving, highly empathic man he was,...or at least SEEMED TO BE, Mr. Chris Farley.
Rest In Peace Chris Farley. I used to impersonate him back in high school.
Chris and Kim, that would have been nice. ❤️
At least Farley didn't shoot and kill someone.
This is so depressing to watch. All Chris wanted was a real love in his life. I think there's so much truth hidden in this sketch. I think Farley actually did have low self esteem, i'm not sure how much acting is going on here, this seems to have a real life element to it. 3:14 it's so sad. It's exactly how things were when he died he had nobody around to comfort him, it's heartbreaking. I find this sketch super depressing, it's downright tragic.
@Warthog-faced buffoon
Fuck you talking about? He had crippling fucking depression. That's what led to his drug abuse.
Warthog-faced buffoon Chris never thought he was very funny, his self esteem was never real high, his humility was off the charts... he had a massive eating and drug problem to boot..everything wasn’t all roses
Whoa relax its all good bud. Cut back on those steroids
@Warthog-faced buffoon Grow a soul and get a clue.
Agree. I don't find this skit that funny at all. More sad.
It seems as if Kim Basinger paved the way for Alec Baldwin on SNL. Of course she'll never get the credit for this in a misogynistic world.
We all need more guys like Chris Farley.👍👌
Man, I miss Chris. One in a million 😊
this look of feeling really uncomfortable is probably how he really felt inside
Kim Basinger is my love of ever..... I loved her since she made the famous movie with the wild Mickey..... She's absolutely gorgeous and sweetheart 💛🌹love you forever Kim!!!! 😍💓

The laughts in the world would never were the same after 1998. Chris I miss you so much. The best comedian of the 90s.
Saw Baldwin in Toronto at Starbucks. He was four feet away and did not look friendly at all. Also met his brother Danny at Cristall Opticians in Toronto. Really good guy and I got his autograph.
Can we all just agree that Chris Farley was the GOAT?! Cause he is just a comedy treasure!
"After John, I dated Re-run." 🤣
Chris was a talented, sweet guy - Alec was a talented, not nice guy - all of Alec's negativity - assaulting people, his political intolerance - it caught up with him and you just knew that one day he would really hurt someone -- killing that cinematographer - wife - mother -- if the script had called for Alec to put that gun up to his head -- he would have examined it thoroughly - 100 percent guaranteed.
Farley was the 🐐
Chris was excellent
Chris is so funny and wholesome that he inspired my dad to actually let me watch SNL, I otherwise wasn’t allowed to watch it as a kid.
Hahahaha ! Chris was so damn funny. Rest In Peace Chris
I miss Farley SO MUCH 🤣🤣👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The good die young, and he was one of the best.

I love that this is supposed to be Chris as he really is, always berates himself for being stupid and is nervously asking simple stupid questions like a little kid or a dim whitted teenager. We miss you Chris, you were one of a kind!💔
My wife only dated fat guys, she’s a hot woman who doesn’t know she’s hot.
When I was a little kid like, 10. I walked up to Kim in a record store in Athens GA and told her she was pretty. She replied with " I know " LOL c u n t is B R O K E
Jackass
Hey, at least she's not insecure. Unlike men who call women the c-word online for daring to have confidence in themselves.
@@picklesthewise Assuming what he/she said actually happened, that would be a pretty bitchy thing to say vs. "Thank you! That's so sweet of you!" or something to that effect. I mean, this was a little kid, not some random guy hitting on her in a bar.
Sad part is Chris never found love and all his fame and fortune never made him happy. Not dumping on Kim, she was doing a skit but I have to think maybe the love of a good woman might have helped Chris. Having said that before you can love anyone you have to love yourself.
The ABCs of Salvation, or how to be right with God, and know you're going to Heaven:
A-dmit that you're a sinner, and need a Savior.
As it is written: There is none righteous, no, not one. Romans 3:10
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
B-elieve that Jesus Christ died paying the penalty for your sins, and rose from the grave.
He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross. 1 Peter 2:24
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures... 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
C-all on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you, and trust only in Him for your salvation.
If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
The moment you "believe," or, put your trust in what Jesus has done for you, God saves you and your eternal destiny in Heaven is assured. You go from spiritual death to eternal life the moment you believe.
Jesus said it this way: Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. John 5:24😀

Ohh Kim, her laughing and her voice is sexiest thing in Hollywood
I always thought Chris Farley was cute. I would have dated him. But I was a child in the 1990s
Wow. Clever writing. Fat guy. Fat guy. Fat guy. SNL wasted Farley's talent. Sure he was wildly successful but they could've done so much more with his talent.
Would have loved an Andy Kaufman and Chris interaction on camera
Unstoppable force meets unmovable object
This is strange that i see Kim Basinger this week. She used to own a little town called Braselton in GA. I had a heart attack this past Tuesday night and I was sent to the hospital in Braselton. I made it there in the nick of time or else I wouldn't be here period. Anyway, I have always loved SNL,. especially in the 70's. I would sit up until midnight on Saturday nights every weekend. It was even more fun when I had my cousins or friends over to spend the night. Great memories.
Glad you're here. Blessings to you!
damn i miss chris farley. so funny!
"I dated Rerun from What's Happening" lol. Explains why Alec Baldwin put on all that weight.
So much love, yet so much pain you were made from. Thanks for everything Chris
This is one of the sweetest sketches.
It was nice that she touched his knee to try to calm him down.
btw this sketch is a parody of all the men she has dated.
He is truly sweet
Man, I love Chris! The 90's was the last time SNL was ever funny with the cast at the time, Phil and Chris were the best! It looks so dry and crusty nowadays with a ridiculous number of people trying to make up the talent a few had in years past! I can't watch now, the show really has been the pits since the late 90's. I was missing the 70's in the 90's, but didn't have any idea how bad it would get. Always ups and downs with the show ,but now it's all on a dismal level. Really shows me the talent of the 70's and 90's actors. Eddie Murphy was the saving grace in the shitty 80's, thank god for him, but most everything else sucked in the shitty 80's Chris is really missed!! If you're out there Chris, we love ya!!!
in "9 1/2 Weeks" she would do anything

That is a tragedy.
It's too bad you had a Christian video store you could have put that thing to good use
