I looked up a dozen methods for this and they work, only for a short period. Like after a hour, or sometimes a few hours or a day the watermark will just come back.
It's better to understand these commands before applying them, this command is safe to use but there are many CMD commands which can ruin your PC if you don't know how to reset them. rearm command resets activation timers, which essentially lets you use Windows without activating it by extending the trial. For example, if you're using Windows on a 30-day trial, this one-month limitation can be reset back to the beginning after entering this slmgr command. There's a limit to how many times you can rearm the Windows activation files. Check the rearm count with the slmgr /dlv command above to see how many cycles are left.
The command is "slmgr /dlv" (not "slmgr -/dlv" which just returns an error). I tried it. My rearm count is 1000 so this method will work for me for another 1000 months, or over 83 years. I'll be loooong dead before that point is reached. 😂

Watermark goes away for few hours when you restart PC even if you don't try to remove it. I remember on windows 10 if you simply just restarted PC watermark comes back after 3h 10min, every time.

Theoretically it is possible to just remove the code that causes the watermark to pop up by changing the code in the .iso files. But it isn't possible with programs like NTLite because it would be against windows policy

Thanks. I just changed CPU and motherboard and now it's asking me to activate it, but it won't reactivate anymore because apparently Windows only gives a free pass for two motherboard changes, and that I need to call customer support for help. Very annoying. The first method worked btw.

Yes, they work at first, but even just restarting without doing ANYTHING else can do that. After a reboot or two, or after you've had your system on for a little while, it still comes back. So your sub was for a pointless solution.

The 'slmgr =rarm' solution is TEMPORARY. All it does is reset the evaluation period for 30 or maybe even 60 days. After that, the watermark will return.
This is not a permanent solution. You’re better off actually activating the license. There are ways to do this for free if you look around online. …also, as a general rule of thumb it’s not a great idea to modify your computer based on the instructions of someone who admits they don’t know which step solved the problem.
Just restart the Pc without doing anything from the video it will disappear and then it will appear after a while as this process happens so all tricks are just for content

I've found that I've had to go through a process of removing the watermark about once a year. Better than having to pay an activation fee though.

I watched this without the audio, and I didn't realize that you need to restart your computer to like, make the change final.
None of the methods remove it permanently.It goes off but after one shuts down the PC and switches on later it comes back.

The watermark disappears for couple hours every time you reboot, even without doing any of these.
The watermark was removed but the whole screen became black!This was through Control Panel-remove background images.Other methods not workable!
