It's not his first "rodeo" and pushing 70 👆🏻that is why these "men" don't stop. They are fit and he probably will trip again. Hopefully with a fine recovery like that one. "Up The Irons!"🤘🏻
It amazes me to think that when I first saw Iron Maiden perform live (on the World Peace Tour in 1983) I was a long haired 14 year old that bunked off school to go and buy my ticket. And now I'm a 54 year old bald headed grandfather.
This right here proves that they actually play everything live and don’t have prerecorded music like other bands. Hence why we love Iron Maiden and why they’re the best.
And his bass cut out because he was actually playing it, unlike Nikki Sixx's whose bass track just kept playing. Glad Steve didn't break an ankle or get to terribly hurt. He jumped it off! haha Steve rules. And has the best LAST NAME! \m/
Hey, 67 is not, what it was 50 years ago. If one is healthy and does a minimum of regular body fitness, he can of course fall, stand up and jump (I am old enough, that I can dare to say that).
@@bertiradisch7056yeah, I know, but anyway, it's still 67, which is almost 70. An average working class man/woman, barely can do that, unless, as you say, has been concerned about health for quite a while. For me it's a great merit
@@ramsesbruyperez8499 I agree with you regarding working class, it will be different, when somebody has worked physically over 45 years. But as far as I know, Steve Harris has been a professional musician his whole life ... And don't forget, he is financially upper class. So he always could have the best doctors and health support and wellness, whatever he wants ...
@@bertiradisch7056 yes, that really makes the whole difference. Not crushing your body working in construction for instance makes it way more feasible.

For those who say backing tracks. Look and listen more closely Look at his right hand though. It keeps moving even during the fall. And playing an open note without the use of the left hand is possible like with an A or a D note. If the rythm continues but the note is off for a second without paying much attention it is very similar. And yes the exact moment can be heard. It is a muffled thud. If you listen very very careful, it is milliseconds where he does not play at all. No backing vocals. All skill. Im in my 30s and when I fallen before I take time to get up. Steve just amazes me getting up and still carrying himself. impressive 👏
Maiden don’t even use a click in the studio…. There’s no way they’d use one live (you need a click to run backing tracks). Nothing wrong with backing tracks for the right band but I think Steve and Nicko would rather give up playing than use backing tracks, they are proper old school and long may they reign!
Amazing, im glad Steve is alright. He handled that very well by just getting back up and continuing on like nothing happened and barely missed a beat. It looks like he tried to keep fingering the song with his right hand. Thank god Steve is in good shape. What a legend, although im sure later on after the show he felt something from the fall. I hope he continues to play for as long as he can for the years to come. Up the Irons.🤟🤟
@@stevenlornie1261 I thought the sound was fantastic, as is the way with the hydro, the intro to the trooper, he does simplify it .. being honest, I don't pay attention to the finer points.

Just fractured my wrist and got a severe sprain 2 weeks ago not from a fall but stress crack from carrying a heavy load and I cringed watching him fall. Good thing his fall was slanted and not a direct fall or else he could of fractured. I just hope I can regain full use so I can return to playing guitar. Up the irons !!
Lucky his bass stayed in tune, handled it well and no injury. Bruce had a comical one years ago, slipped off the monitor from memory, he said talk about suffering for your art, pretyy funny
@helicida1oesn't matter, my wife, 15 years younger than Steve, plays tennis and runs, fell like this last year, fractured left wrist and left ankle, it's taken her 4 operations and 12 months to recover but she won't be running for another 6 months. 67 years old and gets up in a flash like nothing happened! All credit to him. Just an observation; how low is the PA volume? The guy filming is right at the front, granted, but you can actually hear the headstock of the bass hit the stage!

67 years old and fit as his bass. The majority of the population his age wouldnt be getting up without help! Legend!
and he also plays football also as a free activity
What a pro - just gets back up in a flash and bounces on.
That's all he could do really

He plays a lot of football so he's a fit guy for his age
Ha ha just stupid
And he's 67 when this happened

gets up and doesn't miss a beat. That's why he's the King of All Metal
Straight back on his feet, true professional.
I like moments like these, because it shows that the band is a real deal and actually playing the music LIVE, not just some playback with them acting

Steve Harris has my total respect. great gig in Glasgow Monday. cheers lads.

Unfazed. Just on with the show. Keep yourselves healthy boys and girls! Steve is a prime example of fitness
It happens. Probably many times before... but everyone's a cameraman now. Just imagine how many gigs maiden have played.

I can't believe it. He sprang straight back up like a 30-year old. some guys his age would be in hospital for a month.
I agree but also was not surprised as he keeps active playing football matches in between shows!!

Steve's stage presence is just mind blowing, saw them in Glasgow, outstanding
Glasgow was good until Nicko started messing up on the encore. The drums on Trooper was sad to hear. That and the sound was pretty questionable.

Football training paying off, just another day on the pitch. Go Steve!! UP THE IRONS!!!

The Stumble of the Beast.

The man even falls on tempo hahah ❤
Is the fucking Steve Harris. He can fall as many times as he wants. 🤘
In his late 60's and recovers LIKE THAT! I'm 10 years younger than him and I would STILL be on my ass.😆
Same. I'd probably have broken a hip. lol
He's gonna have an OAP bruise the next day

I think he has slipped and fall so many times with playing football so he can handle case like this like a pro.
I stumbled like that 8 weeks ago and tore my knee meniscus!
Steve is a tough old bastard.
Headstock hit the stage pretty good, that's a testament to that old of a precision.
Very nice recovery, Mr. Harris

He slipped, very unlikely to break anything or even notice it TBH
More like a slippery fall probably due to water dropped on the stage. HARRIS is a REAL TROOPER and not missing a beat.. A TRUE PROFESSIONAL !!😁👍
His left foot slipped off the raised lip in the stage.

Never missed a beat!
What a lad. Shits me up anytime they fall now. Looks after himself though.
FFS they aren't made of glass
And like the true professional he is didn't miss a beat
its not how you fall, its how you get back up .

i've seen maiden several times, and someone on stage has fallen on their ass at least once. it's not a maiden show if someone hasn't fallen down
