@@Poochadragon123 That ball isn't moving slow at all. Sure, he took a little pace off because he's going down the line meaning the angle gives the ball less room to land, but all that topspin made it land super heavy. It bouncing on the line makes it even a greater shot. He planned it and are training that way on purpose.

Rafa is starting to look like Rafa. So much better than Barcelona and also an improvement over Madrid. He could have a good Rome. Roland Garros with best of 5 sets, could be tougher for him especially when he is getting basically no free points on his serve with the ab injury. At this stage, I am not sure he has the fitness to grind it out from the baseline for best of 5. Never count him out though.

This is not what I ever dreamed of seeing from him at this stage of his career. Nadal defeated himself because of his physical fitness, unfortunately, and age has a role in poor fitness, especially Nadal, who played the most offensive attack unlike the rest. And the dirt drains Nadal very much, the best example. Watch the final summary of the last version and how he crushed Novak in the final with three sets to zero. Right, Novak is a distinguished and dangerous player, but his performance is not the reason for Nadal's loss. The reason is poor physical fitness and Nadal when he is physically fit, no one can stop him, even if Novak is at his best
