Always a pleasure to watch Rafael Nadal play tennis
King Rafa is getting his pace n rhythm back. He really looks great here with his power n strokes. Wish him the best this year!
Happy to see him playing
Last tune up for French Open. Hopefully he gets his endurance back and stay healthy. LFG, RAFA!
This is real life not top spin or fifa, you can't get your endurance back like that
He is moving better than barcelone but let's see if he can play a lot of 5 sets matches like that
Something changed, the spin seems faster now. Interesting.
Vamooosss Magic Rafaaaaa 🪄♾️💜🎾🏆👑🙏
1:02 - Look at the bounce of that ball. Rafa is sharpening his forehand.
Look how slow it travelled. The height of the ball was from hitting the line. Weird bounces happen all the time on clay.
It's topspin kids
It's called topspin
@@Poochadragon123 That ball isn't moving slow at all. Sure, he took a little pace off because he's going down the line meaning the angle gives the ball less room to land, but all that topspin made it land super heavy. It bouncing on the line makes it even a greater shot. He planned it and are training that way on purpose.
@@Poochadragon123
Look at his movement and the ball trajectory, it wasn't from the line, you clearly don't know rafa
At last he also starting to try sliding a little. Building confidence slowly but surely. Vamos!!
Rafa looker sharper to me. Go Rafa!
If he can improve his backhand and serve a bit, and have sharper movement going forward, he could be a threat to virtually anyone.
Backhand has looked better than his forehand in previous matches.
Yeah, he really needs to improve his serve to be able to go deep into tournaments. From what I saw from Madrid and Barcelona his serve was a weak point which lets players get into the game more.
He used to have a really flat hard first serve back then but stopped it to prevent arm strain and injury
I notice his running backhand is yet struggling a bit...
@@jameskent9759he is careful of his hip ,rib and abdomen ..if he stretches too much to improve serve he will be in danger ..thats why he can't serve well and careful about his body
Forehand looks heavy af
Yeah, it's insane.
Rafa is starting to look like Rafa. So much better than Barcelona and also an improvement over Madrid. He could have a good Rome. Roland Garros with best of 5 sets, could be tougher for him especially when he is getting basically no free points on his serve with the ab injury. At this stage, I am not sure he has the fitness to grind it out from the baseline for best of 5. Never count him out though.
Best of 5 not rafa problem..he used to it and 1 day rest between every matches help him to win his 15th Roland Garros
@@Laland_1196 How is he used to it? He hasn’t played a major in since January 2023 and even then only played one full match. Not saying he can’t do it, but not sure his fitness is there yet.
Let’s just hope he can up his serve for Paris to grab some free points.
@@eincan1313 he will ..i watched his entire career where he missed many slams but when he participate in slams he is back to his best especially in Roland Garros. .trust me ..he will win Roland Garros this year
@@Laland_1196 I hope but let's be honnest , he, himself, said that it's the first time that he hasn't played for almost 2 years and He's not the young rafa anymore
He is just incredible to watch ❤
MORE ON-COURT ALWAYS!!
One question springs to mind, I know his age but he is still playing so well, why retire? Yes I know his injury niggles were there but it's gone now, why not. retire if injured again? Yes I know retire when up but he looks like he has so much more in his to give? Agree?
@alexholmes because his body won’t last on grass or hard courts look where most of his injuries happen since 2017
It's valuable to be able to see Nadal's practice that doesn't show his usual practice, thank you.
Looking forward to be tomorrow, feeling so happy 😊. I cross the fingers 🤞 Rafa 😃, good luck 🍀
He's great on his forehands with ball control.
If i wins anything from now on, I swear I'll get my guts out just to make my dreams come true, this guy is a real warrior and role model in sport.
Oh boy rafa is sharpening his strikes... Be fear of him
Buen nivel de peloteo contra Cerundolo.
Great racket head speed. I just hope his body can give him what he asks from it. One last go at RG would be great.
Rafa the legend ,,, this sparring is better than the one in Madrid,, Rafa good Luck
The sparring is Fran Cerúndolo 😁
Let's go Nadal beast
Why did you tag Tsitsipas in this video @tennistv ? Stef is not there in this practice montage. Please upload Stefanos ' Rome 2024 practice from May 7. Thanks
(1) More people want to watch Rafael Nadal practice than they want to watch most other pros play matches. (2) Rafa' is picking up the pace. He's serving harder. Rafa will do better at Rome than he did at Madrid, I bet -- as he continues his preparations for Roland Garros.
💯 agree. I'd rather watch him, then Novak, then Carlos then Jannik but I know the last two not playing Rome so I'll just have to stick with Rafa and Novak no problemo!
My GOAT. It doesn't matter even if jokers and brokers win 42 slams.
Jawohl Materer 😊👍🇩🇪
So nice to see one of the legends (besides Federer, Djokovic is not one of them for me), Nadal himself, play. Wow, thanks for that! Definitely the King of clay & such a lovely person from such a beautiful country with beautiful nature, language, culture & many great people. Vamos & only the best for you King.
#11🙏
TBRH, i don't him retiring this year, he doesn't look washed at all!
Rafa belongs to practice courts now.
Thanks tennis tv for completely ignore Fran Cerúndolo 🙄 (ironically)
Looks he regain the prime level ...
Upload a practice match but not uploading classic rafa vs murray and rafa vs Djokovic 2014 rome extended highlights?
He won practice set with cerundolo?
Won a match at Barcelona, three at Madrid and I predict at least QF at Rome....
Looking fine to me
Hola!!! Pregunta..con quien jugara Rafael nadal en Roma 2024 la primera ronda?
He's playing 24 year old Belgian player Zizou Bergs tomorrow first round.
@@ksc743 peligro
Rafa should be selling tickets to watch him practice.😂
Good idea for his retirement practice sessions some day. 😁
有没有出现过练习赛打不过对手的情况?😅
who is he? he looks really good on clay. i think he’ll win 20 or more gs!!! mark my words 😉
@5mm keeping dreaming
Was that Fran Cerundolo?
Bro I thought that was some random Kid the way Rafa was making him look😂 Cerundolo is in such Good Form and yet it felt as though Rafa was practicing with some Kid
Feel like cerundolo would have a good chance of beating Rafa in a match rn lol
Yes he is :)
yes
7/6 6/3 Rafa wins
Esperemos que no pongan en este torneo silbidos grabados como en Madrid menudo ridiculo lio la organización.Arriba Nadal!
OMG
別格、、、
Who was the opponent?
Francisco Cerundolo
Wow rafi xan hire some pro players to practise wid
Novak and rafa practice
Who's the other guy?
Cerundolo I think.
Djokovic
Rod Laver
I am
Andy Roddick
Who is Rafa hitting against?
Fran Cerúndolo
@@FelixiMusic Thank you!
David Ferrer
Nadal will remain the best in tennis history and a tennis legend with Federer and there is no consolation for the haters of Novak's fans, no matter what he does, he will remain behind the Swiss and the Spaniard
Did he want to play Wimbledon? This is not the Clay court style he used to be, so flat and dangerous.
does ciruelandolo wash his itchy hair?
I love watching Nadal playing but he just can.t beat his body forever and should just announce retirement from professional tennis. There is no shame in that. He will always go as 1 of the best tennis player ever but right now and in the future he just can.t keep up. Good bye Rafa. ❤
You retire from here.
@@anocri Be nice!
sadly His Physique isn’t strong as it used to be and his shots arent lethal as they used to be,,,,it is inevitable that he will not make til the later stage of all upcoming tournaments but hope he will have a good last dance
Actually, i am quite surprised because, while I dont expect him to win anything, he is looking closer and closer to his 2021 form. This is not what I ever dreamed of seeing from him at this stage of his career. And as his last 5 years have shown us, he does not need to move that well if your anticipation, dictation and point construction is top notch.
Tennis isn't about physique. He isn't hitting as hard because he hasn't built that confidence yet.
Later stages still very possible. Hes still top 10 on clay. Winning Rome or French open, yeah, very unlikely. But i'd not be at all surprised to see im in Last 16 or Last 8
@user 2021 form lol he’s not doing anything special in Rome or RG
@@colethomas903 people who write "lol" tend to write some nonsense afterwards. We dont care about your speculations.
Nadal defeated himself because of his physical fitness, unfortunately, and age has a role in poor fitness, especially Nadal, who played the most offensive attack unlike the rest. And the dirt drains Nadal very much, the best example. Watch the final summary of the last version and how he crushed Novak in the final with three sets to zero. Right, Novak is a distinguished and dangerous player, but his performance is not the reason for Nadal's loss. The reason is poor physical fitness and Nadal when he is physically fit, no one can stop him, even if Novak is at his best
He looks in bad shape.
